Yarlam Resort

We stayed for two nights to visit places around. Quiet old style hotel. Great location with lovely views of mountains around. Spacious rooms. Has a special library area. Courteous staff. Ever helpful. Special mention of Mr Tarun and Mr Jeevan. Decent restaurant with good almost home style food.

The interaction at the front desk, the dining area was friendly. Another interesting thing was fun filled "Zero Point" where one can play games with family/friends. Evening Bonfire was also available. It was truly memorable. Bed with temperature control made the stay cozy. Room carpets could have been cleaner.

Staff is very courteous. Check in was very quick. Jeevan from restaurant prepared Jain food as requested without chilli. I had forgot my charger Tarun arranged a drop to Gangtok. Room had a heater and a bed warmer too. Bed warmer is useful. Play area is good. Some slides and trampoline. Kid loved it. Electricity and room water facilities was good given its a remote location.

We visited here during end of April 2024 while we were on transit to zero point.The view is also good from the window or balcony. The stay was were pleasant and the staff were extremely courteous. The food was very fresh and tasty with lots of choice in the buffet. Whenever there was any issue it was immediately attended by the staff and ensured that they were addressed. Special thanks to Jeevan, the restaurant manager for being extremely kind and ensuring that our needs are met. I would anytime recommend to stay here especially if you are visiting North Sikkim.

We stayed in Yarlam for 1 night on 25-26 April. Great property, absolute clean, very pleasant atmosphere. Polite staff. Great food and restaurant ambiance was out of the world. SPA service by Ms. Sujata was cherry on the cake. I strongly recommend this resort and advise females not to miss SPA service by Sujata. Thanks to hotel management and staff for making our stay memorable!!!

Yarlam Resort was a surprise item in many ways. We did not expect to have such a good and cute resort at Lachung. The staff was good. The balcony view was scenic. Food was of good quality. The room was big. The bed was very comfortable. The real treat was that it was heated. The room service was prompt. We really enjoyed our stay.

A luxury hotel surrounded by mountains in the small village of Lachung (9600 ft altitude) with cherry blossoms in front, well decorated lounge, library and children's playground. Service is excellent with smiling staff. Our 2-day stay here was marred by its mediocre and oily food and absence of any Wifi in the room!

Situated in very beautiful place Lachung. With the beautiful surroundings also come a lot of challenges as it’s on a very high altitude and that makes things really difficult. Despite all odds the staff is very courteous and down to earth and ever ready to help. Special mention to Jeevan, the restaurant manager who always greeted us with his beautiful smile and exceptional service, always made us eat a little more :) Also, Jeevan’s colleague Babita did an exceptional job in looking after us very well. Reception staff and housekeeping abd very well behaved and kind as well. Infrastructure of the property is alright given the circumstances of the high altitude and adverse weather conditions. However service quality compensate for everything. Highly recommend this place!

Yarlum resort is a very well maintained nice and cozy place to stay in Lachung. The food is very nice in taste and gives a feel of home cooked food. The resort has maintained its history and heritage which you will be able to see throughout the pictures in the resort. The best part was the library with good collection of books and vintage movie collection.
