Hotel le Chalet

Perfect little gem in the Ardennes forest We stayed overnight on our way down to Croatia. This hotel is located at the top of the hillside by a busy road. However the view over the village is absolutely beautiful. This hotel has been in existence for a long time and oozes charm and character. The room was clean and had own private bathroom. The breakfast was vast and catered for my allergies. Everything was meticulously packed. The host was wonderful even allowing us to park our bike in his garage. Highly recommend this hotel. The area is fantastic for hiking, biking and fly kites

This is a hotel in the typical "Ardennes" style. The location of the hotel is quite good : at the side of a hill, overlooking the city of La Roche. It's situated at a crossing for 2 access roads to the city. There is a car parking in front of the hotel, reserved for the hotel customers. As a lot of people go to La Roche for a cycling weekend or holiday, the hotel has the opportunity to store your bike in a garage at the street level. The hotel is somewhat outdated, with a not so recent infrastructure, but all is quite functional, 3-star worth. The only miss we had was a small hair-dryer. The bed is more than OK, with comfortable pillows. The breakfast for such type of hotel is very elaborate and the breakfast area is very cosy ! The host of the hotel is very friendly, always willing to help. Prima en mooi hotel met vriendelijke eigenaar die voor een mooi ontbijt zorgt !kamers mooi en netjes verzorgt !mooie douche en een goede matras !mooi gelegen met zicht op het centrum !kasteel is goed zichtbaar vanuit het hotel !prima bereikbaar

Geweldig hotel leuke eigenaar. Super ontbijt echt niets mis mee. mooie locatie alles is aanwezig. De kamers zijn groot net als de badkamer. Alles super schoon. Gelegenheid om koffie te maken op de kamer. Er staat een koelkast omgeving dri nken etcetera te koelen.

Oud vervallen slooppand is de eerste gedachte als je uit de auto stapt. Hotel is oud, muf en veel kamers zijn buiten gebruik. Trap naar nooduitgang afgesloten door allerlei troep. Kamers waren redelijk schoon maar ruiken muf, bed ruikt muf. Dit aangekaart bij het welbekende reisbureau Book..... en man achter de receptie. Maar weinig tot geen reactie of medewerking om een oplossing te zoeken. We kennen de ardennen en weten dat je oudere hotels kunt verwachten. Maar dit slaat nergens op, zeker niet voor €140 per nacht! Locatie is top qua uitzicht over la roche!
