We have just returned from a stay with Hotel Rutllan and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were welcoming and friendly, We came for a skiing trip and the hotel is situated right opposite the gondola in La Massana to the slopes, they have lockers for all of your ski gear too. Our package was halfboard which included breakfast and dinner, drinks were extra but these were very reasonably priced. The rooms were comfortable, clean and warm, the decor was a little dated, but we were in the rooms for sleep and showers. The beds were large and comfortable, the shower was powerful and warm. After a days skiing I didn't want to get out! There was a good selection at breakfast time, continental, pastries, crepes, pancakes, fruit, the list goes on. Juices, teas and coffee. A great selection and the perfect start to the day. They remembered our order of coffee and two teas. The evening meal was a set meal, with a choice of starters and mains. These were tasty and very filling, There was a great pudding choice as well. The kids menu was good and suited our fussy eaters. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had the same table every night. The teenagers made use of the spa facilities and said that they were good and helped them relax after a day on the slopes. Hotel Rutllan's bar area was warm and inviting and another relaxing place to spend time in after the slopes. The gins hit the spot as did the Aperol Spritz. A favourite of mine was the Shampoo... Beer with fanta limon...very nice and refreshing. The drinks came with a little bowl of bar snacks, which went down very nicely. This is a family and dog friendly hotel offering a relaxed atmosphere and good food all year round. Should we come to La Massana, Andora skiing again, we would stay here. It is well appointed, there are small convenience stores nearby and pharmacies aplenty, which due to a stinking cold we had to use. Would totally recommend!

My friend and I travel to Andorra most years in January for a week’s skiing We’ve always re booked based on excellent hotel, lovely food and great skiing. This trip was different, it’s our first time at Pal Arinsal (La Massana) and it’s very limited, we won’t re visit. The hotel Rutlan let itself down in so many ways too! Little things like getting the bed wrong, we asked for a twin room and arrived to find a double! Easily fixed but it had been confirmed by email. We missed dinner so they left us some food out. Cold spaghetti, omlette and blood sausage! Seriously! (We didn’t touch it) Food was appalling, literally awful, it wasn’t busy so instead of the usual buffet we had expected they gave us a limited menu to choose from which was a joke among all residents. There was even a £9 surcharge if you wanted cheese instead of desert! Service in the bar was a joke. We were told to leave dead on 11pm, no chance to finish our drinks, the bar staff spent every night watching local football so loud it drowned out the music and service was non existent The spa was good but we then after visiting, found out it was a £30 surcharge they forgot to mention. No facilities in the room but a mini bar with a bottle of water, we then found this too was charged too! We will come back to Andorra as it’s skiing and food are great but never again here!

Magnífica situación para subir a esquiar, muy buena cena y desayuno, hotel de montaña de tipo tirolés, con un personal super amable, y con varios salones para estar . Limpieza muy buena, y un spa estupendo y con parking descubierto gratis, el cubierto de pago

Parto prima con gli aspetti positivi: la colazione, la posizione (proprio di fronte la tele cabina) e Belen Aspetti Negativi: l’accoglienza pessima purtroppo con Maria Angeles (siamo arrivati prima delle 13) e il modo di comunicare arrogante e con la sensazione che dopo aver speso 600 euro mi stava facendo un favore. Mancata trasparenza sui costi di pernottamento per i cagnolini: ho 2 jack russell che pesano meno di 6kg e Maria Angeles sempre con un tono presuntuoso confermando che mi era stato condiviso per telefono… tra l’altro durante la telefonata, dopo alcune domande, mi dice “muchas preguntas, no?!?” comunque 15 euro a notte e per cagnolino, 30 euro addizionali ogni notte. La stanza: vecchia con moquette consumata e mobili usurati. Non si può regolare la temperatura e la notte non si riesce a dormire per il calore ed è necessario dormire con il balcone aperto con la conseguenza di rumori del traffico fastidiosissimi (stanza 110). Il personale delle pulizie non sorridono mai così come il personale della sala ristorante… purtroppo si respira un ambiente negativo in generale. Dopo aver speso più di 150 euro al giorno, direi che non mi considero soddisfatto e tanto meno gestito come un cliente che porta soldi alla struttura. Relativamente alla SPA non è gratuita e costa 14 euro a entrata! Consiglio di essere più trasparenti, più orientati e più rispettosi verso il cliente. Inoltre fondamentale rivedere la politica di addebito dei cani a notte con un peso meno di 10 kg anche se è specificato che un solo cane per stanza, però tutti sappiamo che anche i cani vanno in coppia in alcune circostanze!

Primero, nos cancelaron la reserva, luego tardaron mucho en darnos otra habitación que resultó que ya había gente dentro, nos tuvieron que asignar otra habitación que no correspondía con las fotos publicadas, era una habitación y un baño sin reformar. Al día siguiente por la mañana la ducha no funcionaba tuvo que venir el personal de limpieza para conseguir sacar un chorrito de agua por la alcachofa de la ducha, tampoco funcionaba el secador y para finalizar a la hora del check out no nos descontaron ni un solo euro por el mal servicio recibido.

La recepción muy atentos y simpáticos, la habitación bien y de superficie correcta, moqueta en suelo y muchas alfombras en espacios comunes, si, es confortable con un buen servicio de bar. El desayuno correcto (sin huevos fritos) Las comidas nada recomendables. Un menú de más de 30€ por persona sin bebidas, fatal, tuvimos que devolver los primeros y casi no comimos los segundos, cocina muy mala con servicio muy bueno.
