Sol Los Fenicios

We had a four night stay here, while visiting relatives who live in the area. The hotel was perfect for our needs. The location, straight onto the beach was fantastic. Breakfast overlooking the sea, beautiful. The rooms were spacious and clean.

The hotel is a lovely and quiet location just a few metres from the beach, but you need to cross a (not busy) road. The staff was extremely kind and helpful any time we needed them: they really made us feel at home. We enjoyed the swimming pool on the roof garden. The hotel was extremely clean and quiet. Dinner and breakfast were good value for money, although there is room for improvement in respect of the coffee. Maybe a better coffee machine could do the trick to get to perfection.

We had a wonderful stay. First of all the hotel is situated in a great location. The common areas are well decorated and comfortable. I can’t say enough about how friendly and welcoming the entire staff was. From reception to housekeeping and dining they all went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay.

Thank you so much to the staff of Sol los Fenicios. They are by far the most welcoming reception&staff in La Herradura . Oscar , the head of reception , has exceptional Customer service , brilliant English & very helpful!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. We were upgraded and so our room was very big, clean, bed extremely comfortable, plus we had a balcony and sea view. We had breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea. The breakfast buffet was brilliant, quality of food and choice both superb, and the staff were friendly and efficient. There was parking for free in the street and the beach was gorgeous. I highly recommend this hotel and we are looking forward to returning. Le Herradura was quieter than Nerja but we enjoyed drinks in the chiringuitos and the friendliness.

El hotel se encuentra ubicado a pie de playa al final del paseo de La Herradura, en una zona tranquila y con posibilidad de disfrutar de las vistas al mar tanto desde las terrazas de las habitaciones como desde la cafetería y buffet. Justo enfrente del hotel existen dos zonas de tumbonas y sombrillas (ajenas al hotel) y el hotel facilita toallas de playa/piscina si las necesitas. Las instalaciones son cómodas pero necesitan una reforma para actualizarlas, ya que en algunas instalaciones como los baños se aprecia demasiado su antigüedad y deterioro. En el buffet de desayuno se echa en falta algo más de variedad y se ve que se ha reducido respecto al que tenían anteriormente, se echan en falta productos como frutos secos. La piscina pese a ser pequeña resulta muy agradable, permitiendo unas vistas preciosas de toda la bahía y contando con un servicio de bar a demanda (pides desde un teléfono lo que necesites y te lo suben a la piscina). El trato por parte del personal (recepción, pisos, bar...) es excelente, como nos tiene acostumbrados habitualmente MHI, destacando especialmente el trato ofrecido por Oscar que siempre está dispuesto a recibirte con una sonrisa y hacer todo lo posible para que tu estancia sea más agradable.
