The staff are friendly and we received great service. The thermal pools are wonderful. The room we got unfortunately was not. Hard bed, broken deadbolt, a 3 inch gap at the bottom of the door, no hot water, no dresser, drawers or closet for your clothes. We checked out early. Sorry to the staff but I think this is incorrectly rated. We were very disappointed.

The grounds are lovely with a wonderful view of the volcano from the hot springs pools. The pools are well maintained and cleaned daily. The staff was great and we really appreciated Sebastian and Adrianna's support and hospitality. The rooms, although large, have poor lighting and need an overall update which is the plan. The included breakfasts were great with lots of fresh fruit. The small restaurant and bar by the pool served served limited but tasty faire. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights there.

I couldn’t believe what we walked into! This place is so outdated and paying $200 a night was a waste of money. The beds are hard. The bed frames are all loose , didn’t even for my son’s bed. I don’t know where the music was coming from but all I can hear was pounding if I would’ve known it was gonna be like this I would’ve kept driving through La Fortuna all the way back to San Jose.! My advice is that you avoid this place.

This hotel has been a go-to on several occasions and it has always been good value for us and our out-of-town guests. The breakfasts are mostly typical food but hearty and flavourful. The owners keep up with maintenance so we found the thermal pools to be just as we remembered them when we visited last time, pre-Covid (2020). A word of caution if wifi access is important to you for your planning or work: unit #11 is impossible for maintaining wifi although they’ve installed a booster in the unit. This was okay for us as we had our travel plans established but it was annoying for our guests trying to send pictures to family back home. The garden flowers are beautiful and attract many unique birds. It’s quiet and lovely. Not fancy but functional and clean.

At more than $250 a night over Christmas, this place was an utter disappointment. It’s not a resort, rather a motel with a couple of pools. The hot springs aren’t even hot. The rooms were atrocious. There was no hot water. The shower leaked all night on the tile floor. The air conditioner dripped. The toilet didn’t flush properly. There is no luggage space. The circuit board is exposed. They give you three towels for the entire stay. The walls are thin, so you hear people in the toilet. There isn’t even a garbage bin in the room. This felt like a detention, not a relaxing stay. The free breakfast was just canteen food. The restaurant food and bar drinks all overpriced, comparable to a top resort. The only redeeming factor, and the reason I give it two stars, is the guy at the front desk and the young lady at the bar, were friendly. We packed our bags and went across the street to a real resort for the same price.

terrible experience the room was very old and uncomfortable .The sheets and pillows smelled dirty.. there was no internet on the room as promised on booking the breakfast was horrible...the bathroom was very old nd dirty .. we had to ask for a hand towel because that was none on the bathroom and they gave me just one....I booked 4 nights and ask to leave the next day in the morning and the lady that works there said that I could leave and they would refund the remaining days...they even sent me a email confirming the refund BUT after they saw my review the manager said that the only way for me to get my money back was IF I REMOVED MY BAD AND TRUE REVIEW AND POST A BETTER ONE....they threat us for a refund...never saw that in my life....if you don't believe see for yourself....stay away...I'm still waiting for the refund....do your homework because we found a wonderful hotel right around the corner for the same price....

Buena ubicación, comida muy buena y excelente servicio. Habitaciones cómodas y espaciosas, con buen aire acondicionado, piscinas muy bien cuidadas y una excelente distribución. Un lugar muy familiar y que permite disfrutar en paz de la zona

Este un es lugar pequeño bonito para pasar el día, la comida muy buena. Compramos el pase del día con comida, con menú limitado pero muy buena comida y atención. Cuenta con cuatro piscinas de agua caliente y una de agua fria, algunos ranchitos bajo techo y también un bar. Buen parqueo y cuenta con hospedaje.
