Thank you so much to Bex, Rex and Heather. We stayed here for four days in this delightful, family run hotel. We had the table D’hote on two of the evenings which was simply superb and great value. The winning feature here is the homely atmosphere, and the extensive knowledge of the area of the hosts. Room was lovely with lovely antique furniture. Breakfast was very flexible too, which suited our routine. A great base to explore the area from. They have pitched their hotel just right. Excellent value too. Thanks Gerry and Maggie

On a motorcycling tour with two friends, this was our first time in this area Our time can be summed up in three words: Lovely, Lovely, Lovely Lovely area, Lovely house, Lovely hosts. Rex, Becs and family could not have made us feel more welcome. Attentive but not intrusive, we felt well looked after. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the house has charm and character. Add in an excellent dinner and a very good breakfast and we were wishing we were staying for more than one night. Still, we can always come back.....

Wow ! What an amazing stay we had at La Scierie. We were only planning on staying two nights but enjoyed it so much that we ended up staying for five and still didn’t want to leave ! Gorgeous room overlooking the garden, comfy bed, great shower and delicious breakfast. But two things made this stay stand out for us- firstly , seeing the wonderful way Rex and Becks have lovingly brought this gorgeous old house back to life , with love, care and attention to detail, and secondly, the welcome we received from them and their family. So generous with their time and advice about the area. It surpasses five stars and we will be back at the first opportunity.

Nous avons eu besoin d'un hébergement d'urgence, la météo ne nous permettant pas d'atteindre l'Espagne. Malgré une réservation tardive, l'accueil fut très chaleureux. Les chambres sont très confortable et remarquablement propres. Ce fut un plaisir de converser avec les propriétaires, charmants et aux petits soins. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cette agréable demeure.
