Our room was large and very clean and had an amazing view. The food was excellent especially dinner. The service at the bar and restaurant was friendly. We used the spa on two occasions and were happy with the facial and massages. Tom, the hiking guide, is a wealth of knowledge. We can’t say enough good things about Alpbacherhof and are heading back in August!

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel, the staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you, it’s location in the village and the views of the valley are stunning, we stayed from 23-12-2023 to 01-01-2024, the food and service are 5 star, the rooms are spotless and cleaned everyday. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of a stay in the most beautiful Austrian village.

We spent a month in Europe in May/June. We traveled from the Amalfi Coast to Munich. It was lovely. But by far the best 7 days we had were at the Alpbacherhof in Alpbach, a small village in the Tirol Alps just an hour+ from Munich. Mind you, we were warned no one would speak English. Everyone spoke some English and the hiking guide at the hotel, the fabulous front desk, the charming waiters all spoke a lot of English. As Americans, we were curious that during our entire time there we met no other Yankees. They don't know about Alpbach! The U.S. hasn't discovered this charming, perfect place. The hotel is outstanding in food, service, rooms, views, gardens, spas, staff friendliness and--remarkable but true--an onstaff English speaking hiking guide named Tom. He made sure we mapped out fabulous hikes everyday in the surrounding alps. And yes, they are breathtaking Yes, you hike in incredible places and stop for refreshment at lovely We have been to Europe many times, but now, we want to return to this amazing special hotel and its wonderful surroundings. It is easy to reach from Munich airport. It is beyond gorgeous and welcoming. You will never regret visiting this magical place! Alpbacherhof equals #bestplaceintheworld!

A truly excellent hotel on all levels. Wonderful food. Lovely rooms and perfect spa facilities. Staff were all very helpful and charming. This was a Christmas stay. All ages had a great time. Short walk from the ski room to the bus and a 10 minute ride to the ski lift at Inner Alpbach.

We spent a week here and enjoyed every minute. From the welcome to the time we departed all the staff were so helpful. The food in the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was a vast array of food and Lunchtime there was yet more excellent food. This was then followed by afternoon tea inc Cakes. All this and then the 5 course evening meals which were all delicious. You really need to get into the surrounding mountains to burn off all these calories. You can walk directly from the hotel. We really enjoyed the stay and want to thank all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable.

Excellent food and Spa

Ich bin schon das Dritte mal in diesem wunderschönen Hotel. Erst einmal möchte ich das Personal in den Vordergrund stellen. Es sind alle super freundlich, kompetent und jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt. Es ist ein Familiengeführtes Hotel und das merkt man von Minute 1 an. Die Wellnessbehandlungen sind ein Traum. Einen großen Dank an Ivan. Die Kosmetikbehandlungen bei Edith sind ebenfalls empfehlenswert. Wir wurden noch nie in einem Hotel so gut massiert. Zum Hotel selber: Schöne Anlage mit Blick auf die Berge. Der Wellnessbereich teilt sich auf 7000qm in 2 Bereiche auf. Einer ist schon vormittags geöffnet und der andere ab 14h. Es wird sehr stark auf Nachhaltigkeit gesetzt. Mein einziger Wunsch wäre noch eine Siebträger Kaffeemaschine. Ich bin einfach Kaffeeliebhaber :D. Ich werde wieder kommen :).

Wir haben hier mit abstand unseren schönsten Wellnessurlaub in Tirol verbracht. Der Alpbacherhof ist ein Juwel unter den Wellnesshotels und besticht mit einem einzigartigen Blick in die grandiose Bergwelt des Alpbachtals. Von den Mitarbeitern und der Familie wird man aufs Herzlichste empfangen - ,an fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Das Interior-Design ist sehr stilvoll, modern und hochwertig. Der Spa-Bereich hat einen separaten "Adults-Only" Bereich und die Kulinarik ist absolute Oberklasse. Ich kann den Alpbacherhof bestens empfehlen und komme selbst bald wieder.
