Very good hotel, partly redecorated, rooms are very big and comfortable, but the staff is amazing, I forgot charger for my notebook, and they sent it to me quickly. Food is very good with lots of options for people with allergies or special meal preferences.

I recently had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life here and strongly advise others to avoid this property. From start to finish, nothing went smoothly. The dining options (apart from breakfast) were disappointing. The meals were tasteless and poorly prepared, leaving me with no desire to eat at the hotel’s restaurant again. The hotel does not have a bar where you can hang around in the evening and order something to drink after a long hike/skiing. Arranging a business payment was an absolute nightmare. Despite carefully providing the necessary details multiple times, the hotel staff still managed to get it wrong. After pointing out mistakes on the first invoice, the next version was just as unusable. It seemed impossible to get a correct invoice or even speak to someone who could resolve the issue. About 80% of the reception team was unhelpful. Most appeared to be students or trainees who had little authority or ability to fix billing or payment problems. This caused a great deal of frustration, as they either couldn't or wouldn't address the issues I raised. Only one student tried to help out (I think her name was Edna, and if she is reading this, thank you from the heart! ) The sauna is ol,d and the infrared started working only after 30 min- Be prepared to pay extra fees for almost everything. It felt like the hotel aimed to squeeze out every possible charge without providing matching quality or service. Given these problems, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. The poor customer service, terrible food, and complicated billing process make it a place best avoided. Save yourself the headache and stay elsewhere.

First of all, I would like to point out that the rating refers to the management of the hotel only, specifically to the person Andrej Vuk. All other employees were extremely friendly and do their job perfectly. Explanation: When I arrived in the hotel room of this 4-star hotel, I noticed that it was very cold and told this at the reception immediately. They were not surprised, as they had already been handling similar complaints all afternoon. I was given a small heater. They also mentioned a room change which didn't happen. The heating was probably turned on just before the guests arrived. What's worse, the receptionist could not turn on the bathroom's radiator at all. So I almost didn't sleep the entire night. Besides, the window was without curtains. When returning the mini heater, I just said that my first day of stay was terrible. In response, the above-mentioned man first behaved very arrogantly towards me for a few minutes - until thanked me cynically a few times. I have already stayed in countless hotels but I've never experienced anything like this before.  A shame for such a beautiful place as Kranjska Gora!

This hotel is a gem. It is set in a wonderful location in Kranjska Gora, surrounded by mountains with dozens of beautiful walks. The hotel is spotlessly clean, relaxing and comfortable. The food, which is all self service, was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to the restaurant staff, particularly Jardran, Jeanette and Jure. Our room was cleaned everyday. Having read some critical reviews it is clear that a huge amount of good work has been implemented to upgrade this hotel over the last year or so. We would definitely recommend

My husband and I both agree that this holiday was one of the most relaxed, pleasant holidays we have ever had, helped by staying at this hotel. We are well travelled so we can say this with confidence. We had a great experience. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful, professional, friendly and quietly welcoming. We had a large bedroom with the most fantastic mountain views, fresh air and peace and quiet. The room was very clean with very comfortable beds. We slept very well. The daily room clean was exceptional. Quite often we have stayed in other hotels where you can smell the drains. Not so here - everything works well to a high standard. There is no rubbish outside the hotel, everything is spotless inside and out. We found the self service breakfasts and evening meals to be a very high standard with lots of variety and they catered for guests with special diets too. We ate curry and rice, salmon steaks with mixed sauted vegetables, pork, chicken, white fish to name a few. I booked a thai massage which was very, very good and 10% off for hotel guests.

Strengths- location, free parking, free breakfast, different size pillows, offered a free fan. Downside- out dated decor, old and leaky shower, room safe not working, no air units, average breakfast set up, we booked with a welcome drink in our price and they said no when we arrived, gym average (no towels or water), spa services unorganized. I would give this hotel a solid 3 stars.
