Effect Algara Beach Resort - Ultra All Inclusive and Free Parking

We had a shock when we received the room as it was different than on their site. The first time and hopefully the only time for this disappointment. Very small room, big walk in shower and balcony. But for 2 people and with an infant it was hard, we had to leave the stroller and many beach toys at the door as we really did not have enough space. The manager said he can't change it and that it is what we paid for. I even showed her the pictures with what I paid for but the answer was the same. The pool was with very cold water, even the one for kids. There was a pool with maybe 0.4 m and another one with 1.25m. The entry in the water is with a lot of rocks. Now for the nice parts: Food was good, perhaps the best we tried in many years in all inclusive resorts. Cleaning was every day and we had a free minibar with water, juices and beer refilled daily. Entertainment team was nice and had almost every day activities, they invited us every time. Private beach, beach bar and restaurant, friendly staff. Free private parking Playground for kids and a big garden. Even at full capacity it didn't feel crowded. You have to walk a lot in the water to swim as an adult. But for kids is a lower risk. All in all we will not come back. I think it can be a good idea for families with over 3-4years old kids that afford maybe an apartment or a premium room but I advise to ask for pictures before.

Every thing was ok. Best value for money. Beach near hotel clean, free umbrella and beach bed. Drinks and food ok. Clean rooms.

I picked this place because it had an enormous garden and its proximity to the beach since we were with a 3montthold. The staff were very polite. The food was good. The animation team were incredible as well. I got the chance to rest and recharge.

I paid over €1500 for a “4-star ultra all inclusive” stay, yet the experience was far below expectations. I was influenced by the positive reviews, but the reality is quite different. The rooms and food might deserve 4 stars, but the concept of “ultra all inclusive” exists only on the bill, not in the services or quality offered. The photos I took speak for themselves. Overall, a disappointing place that does not justify the price and certainly does not live up to what was promised.

One of the best summer holidays. Great all-inclusive hotel just steps from the beach. Large, clean pool, beautiful garden with plenty of trees, fresh air, and peaceful open spaces. Tasty food, good drinks, and friendly, professional staff. Perfect for a relaxing getaway!

The resort offers plenty of ok services, amenities and activities but doesn't really excel at anything. The only exceptions to this are the entertainment team(s) and the evening shows which are pretty great. Another huge plus is the fact that the beach and the resort is well spaced, so you never feel crowded or lacking intimacy even when fully booked. This being said, there are multiple areas that would require renovation or proper maintenance, especially at this price point. To name a few - the pool and parking areas need an urgent refresh and the sunbeds could use a renewal. Additional small quirks that take points away: beach towels can be picked up and replaced only between 15:00 and 17:00; an initial deposit fee is required for each towel; the beach towels are small, ragged and overused; each room gets a single 2L bottle of water per day, for any other water you have to go to water dispensers and use small plastic cups; there are multiple bathrooms in the resort that have the hot and cold water lines switched/reversed; there are multiple rooms (if not all) that have the "do not disturb" and "please clean up" signs reversed/switched; to better explain, you press the "do not disturb" button in the room but the "please clean up" sign outside the door gets lit/turned on and the opposite is true; imagine the issues that can arise from this :-) We also had a more serious issue which caused us to switch rooms but I will not mention it because management was understanding and helped us overcome the situation. Pro tip: avoid the Royal Club accomodations, the rooms are worse than the standard ones and the additional perks are not worth the extra cost.
