One Ocean Boutique Apartments & Suites on Bonaire has become much more than a holiday destination for us — it’s our home away from home. Every stay reinforces why this place holds such a special place in our hearts. The penthouse remains our favorite, offering unbeatable privacy and those mesmerizing sunsets. Even with the property fully booked, it never felt crowded — just peaceful and relaxed. One highlight of this trip was the help we received with our afternoon ocean dips, making every swim effortless and enjoyable. As always, the apartment was spotless and beautifully equipped, but what truly makes One Ocean special is the people. This time, we also got to meet Tessa, a fantastic new addition to the team, who added to the already amazing hospitality. Each visit feels like a reunion with old friends, where every need is anticipated, and every moment is filled with comfort and joy. Our week at One Ocean Boutique in Bonaire was perfect! All aspects of the trip went seamlessly. Our hosts, Vronie and Geert, arranged the airport transfers, had the rental car waiting at One Ocean, picked up "starter" groceries, provided a later checkout and basically did everything for us so that all we had to do was show up! In all my travels, I have never met such friendly and helpful hosts - you instantly felt you were friends. As we asked questions during the week, they provided us with various information sources (maps, books, fish guide) for what we were interested in doing. We have visited Bonaire for 25 years (and plan to visit many years more). We love this boutique and will return. The location is fantastic - north of the city (i.e. cruise ships) and closer to many of the best snorkeling/dive sites. The snorkeling is wonderful in front of One Ocean as well as at close by snorkeling sites.

The Room was impecabal and bed excellent quality ! Airco and fan . Nice vieuw from our bed Terras was huge! Even with houses at both sides there was a very good sense of privacy . Perfect to enjoy the sun set. Kitchen with Microwave, oven dishwasher freezer. Also available camping chaires and big coolbox . In front of the facility, there’s an entrance to dive or snorkel. We spent a week enjoying this beautiful place and the warm hospitality of Geert and Vronie, who made us feel immediately welcome and at home. We stayed in the two-bedroom penthouse, which had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and the bedding and towels smelled fresh. We were never short of anything during our stay. The sea view was breathtaking, and we even saw dolphins swimming by several times. On Christmas Eve, Geert and Vronie invited us to join a cozy dinner with the other guests, which was very nice! Geert and Vronie are always available to assist and do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They are incredibly modest and never pushy, which we found very refreshing. Since we had a late flight back, they kindly allowed us to store our luggage in their office and use the bathroom to freshen up after checking out. This allowed us to enjoy a full day exploring the island before heading to the airport. Our stay was truly fantastic! We wholeheartedly recommend staying at One Ocean and being welcomed by Geert and Vronie. We would love to come back here!

We did not arrive at One Ocean in our rental truck until after dark. Tsjitske, the property manager who lives off-site, was sitting outside waiting to greet us. What a pleasant and unexpected surprise! She gave us a 30 minute tour of our apartment, the grounds, and a general orientation to the island's layout with regard to supermarkets, roadways, and dive sites. Before we arrived, we got several very useful emails offering to arrange airport shuttle service or anything else we needed. They provided extensive restaurant and non-diving activity recommendations, as well offering to place a full breakfast in our fridge for our first mor ing there so we wouldn't have to try and food shop immediately after arriving the previous night. We accepted that offer and accepting it was worth it. If you stay at One Ocean, do yourself a BIG favor and ask for the 1st day breakfast service. You will not be sorry - we couldn't finish eating all the food provided in a single meal. We also decided for convenience to get our SCUBA tanks from One Ocean's partner dive shop - VIP Diving. Special thanks to Sharina, Martin and Perta at VIP. After we showed our certification level and nitrox cards at the shop on our first day and got our respective lead weights, for the rest of our stay on Bonaire the VIP Diving staff delivered two day's worth of tanks to One Ocean every other day and regularly took away our used tanks. No daily trips to and from a dive shop, or doing so during its business hours. Daily tank exchanges for us was as simple as pulling into our parking area in front of One Ocean at the end of a day if diving, placing used tanks under a tree in the yard, and logging the fresh tanks we took from the secured tank locker each morning. When we wanted 2 tanks each at 2AM, we just walked outside, loaded them in the truck, and set off for some night dives! As divers, we also appreciated the dedicated gear locker that came with our One Ocean apartment rental. It was outside and down on the beach level, directly next to a large sink for soaking gear and an outdoor shower with foot rinse spout. In the gear locker there were half a dozen strong hangars specifically designed for divers reg sets, BCs, and wet suits. There was also a large plastic tub for our daily use carrying masks, fins, lights, etc. back & forth to the truck. In addition, our private locking gear locker contained a cooler and two beach chairs for our use. Mid-week we got a very much appreciated housekeeping visit from Carolina. We left for the day before she arrived, and came back several hours later to an apartment that looked like we hadn't even been sleeping there, much less cooking, relaxing, drying wet swimsuits, and relaxing throughout the entire apartment. That brings me to the accommodation itself. We stayed in the Junior apartment. It had an ocean view from the bed, across a small but comfortable wrap around balcony. Very nice apartment, great service and everything is done to ensure you have a wonderful holiday. When booking, you will receive information about what to expect, towels are available, a cool box with cooling elements and much more. Makes a difference in the suitcase. Car rental is also very well arranged, a car is something you need on Bonaire, it is too hot to walk during the day. Only positive points and very nice, all the help from the hostess and host!
