We spent 10 days at this beautifull hotel. The Grand Deluxe room with sea view was absolutely amazing. The staff was very polited. Breakfast at the Christal hall was very delicious too. The pool area was peaceful and clean. Beach area was also very nice. The only complain goes to closing the Beach area after 17.. September, as the weather was still very nice and warm. So maybe think about that for the future. All other was amazing!

As a guest of a 5-star hotel, it is understandable that high expectations are set for all aspects of the stay. However, the mattress in my room was worn out, with a noticeable dip that should not be present in a hotel of this caliber. On the positive side, the staff were kind and helpful, and the breakfast offered a great selection. While the pool was nice, the hot tub was disappointing. The water temperature in the hot tub was only 93.6 degrees Fahrenheit, which is below human body temperature of 97.8 degrees Fahrenheit, making it not hot at all. According to the swimming pool staff, this was the maximum temperature they could achieve. Overall, I am not impressed with this 5-star hotel. The mattress needs to be replaced and upgraded to meet the standards expected of a luxury accommodation.

This beautiful hotel is one of the most iconic on the Adriatic coastline. The Kempinski Palace Portoroz is not simply a five-star luxury hotel but a cultural monument where you can indulge in gourmet cuisine, Spa treatments, and unforgettable sunsets over the Sea. The sumptuous breakfast is served in the beautiful Crystal Hall with chandeliers and gilded ornaments from 1910. Don't miss a signature cocktail at the lobby bar and a gourmet dinner with wine pairing at the Sophia Restaurant. I also enjoyed an amazing signature Spa Treatment with olive oil. Highly recommended!

I love this hotel. It is well staffed. One does not have to wait for a reception or concierge or the vallet parking. The pool area is great as is the service. Breakfast on the terrace is amazing. I do miss the old sit down/coffee/tea service though. The hotel has enough amenities in terms of bars, restaurants, spa, pool, park in front etc. One can have a relaxing stay here. The mattreses and pillows though could be replaced already (I was in the traditional part on the 3rd floor; grand deluxe sea view).

Hotel architecture, location, infrastructure, breakfast selection and quality, spa facilities and services, velet parking of car, friendliness and professionality of each single staff member are all simply unsurpassed and result in a wonderful and perfect stay. That' why we keep coming again.

Visited this hotel for like 4-5 times. Unfortunately every year is going down and down. The pool is great, the building itself is really nice but it will need some maintanance. Dirty carpets, walls in the room etc. The food is bellow the average. The pool food is really bad (check pictures enclosed), same breakfast. I can remember old times here where you had nice choose of fruits, veggies and generally quality of food. Now the tomatoes are rotten, you have just basic offer of Water melon, fruit salat, pinaple. Nothing special. If you compare the food with other Kempinski hotels it is not worth it. Discovery membership is here something what does not exist. So you will have no benefits with using it compared to other Kempinski hotels where you have room upgrade (hotel had higher rate room available), late check out, local offers etc.

Kempinski is amazing as always. The building itself, amenities, kitchen - there the customer feels great. Spacious rooms with everything you need. Lovely pool. Breakfast outside - we love it in this hotel. Only the quality of the food in the restaurant can be improved. A good base for walks - even to Piran.
