Paul Mclaren and Angela George 08/06 - 22/06 Just finished our first week and wanted to say what a little gem this place is in the laidback resort of Tigaki. Fabulous family run apartments and wonderful hosts. The rooms are spotless contrary to other reviews and are cleaned 6 days a week by fantastic friendly maids. The beds and pillows are the cleanest and most comfortable we have had in Greece. The towels are not old dirty and grey they are new olive green and charcoal grey which I prefer to a white towel that goes off white. There is hot water at all times and the shower is good. Toilet paper is provided. There is soap in a dispenser in the bathroom and a hairdryer. Washing up liquid and a sponge is supplied and replaced after each week. Plenty of clothes hangers. The kitchen has a 2 ring hob, microwave, fridge with a freezer compartment and kettle. There are plenty of utensils and cups for self catering. The WIFi is excellent in your room and all areas. Air conditioning and a safe are available. The pool area is clean and the pool is spotless and large enough for doing laps. The pool bar offers a varied selection of food and drinks, very tasty and reasonable prices. A large draft beer is €4!!!! We emailed our hosts prior to arrival to request a first floor room due to illness and they were happy to help. If you did have any problems at all just speak to them and they are happy to assist. Just next door is a supermarket with a bakery that is the cheapest we have ever had in Greece within a tourist area and they sell everything you could ever need. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops on the 15 min easy flat walk to a wonderful sandy beach. Bus stop to Kos town just outside apartments €2.30 each way. The “cockroaches” as mentioned in a previous review are actually a May Bug. Completely clean and harmless, you often see them in walks around Greece as they are most often upside down wiggling their legs as they are a bit stupid!!!! Transfer time to Tigaki is around 30 mins on transfer bus or quicker by taxi. The airport is new and organised with no long queues. We will add to this review when we have completed our trip but without hesitation we would return. Thank you to everyone at Aspro Spiti for all your hard work!

Well what can I say about there apartments, we were in the block to the rear, I’ve been to Greece many times and know the rooms are usually basic, but the room we had was an absolute disgrace, dirty unclean room when we arrived, there was underwear in one of the drawers, probably from the previous occupants, the wardrobe was falling apart and bedding was disgusting, the towels were dark brown, I know that sounds petty but I do like to be able to see if the towels are clean, We complained to Tui and were moved to another room which was much cleaner however the owners had a terrible attitude towards us after the complaint. I will never go there again

Basic but clean apartments. 2 rings a kettle and fridge. Lovely pool area and pool bar. Family always on hand if needed. Location ideal at the top of the ***** with marge supermarket next door which has a bakery in it. Very comfortable sun loungers and pool is easily accessible with steps as well as ladders. Would certainly recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay

We had a wonderful 10 nights at this lovely family run hotel. Service was perfect, snack bar food varied and tasty. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels every 2 days. Pool area is great with sunbeds always available. This is our second visit to Tigaki but 1st time at these apartments. We liked the central but quiet location of Aspro Spiti and will definitely return. Sad to leave. Mention to lovely lady behind the bar who cooks the lovely cheeseburgers. Thank you Niko and Poppi

This lovely family owned and run property has above basic, clean and well maintained accommodation. Comfortable beds. Excellent maid service 6 days a week. A delightful good sized swimming pool, comfirtable .sun beds. Pool kept immaculately clean. Good bar and serving reasonable priced drinks and good simple food. The hosts are Nicos and Popi are very welcoming and run a very efficient aparthotel. During our stay the level of satisfaction among the holidaymakers was clear with a lovely atmosphere. It is not a 4star impersonal sort of place. It is real and genuine Greek/Kos hospitality. Highly recommend if this is the type of relaxing, happy holiday you are looking for. We have stayed here in several occasions and never been disappointed. We have booked direct and always been given clear pricing. August 2024 has added another lovely memory.

We were given the warmest of welcomes when we arrived in the early hours of the morning. The bar was open and the lovely owners gave us some milk for a coffee. The hotel is quite small, beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. The rooms are basic but very comfortable. You might struggle to cook a three course meal but you are so close to all the restaurants and bars that all we really did was breakfast in the room. There is a really large supermarket right next door with everything you need including a fresh bakery. Right outside the supermarket is the bus stop to Kos town. Buses run regularly, on time and cost €2.30. Lots of lovely restaurants & bars and 15 minutes stroll to the beach. The pool area is really lovely. We had air con at €8 a night - brilliant, a safe for €5 for the week and a late check out room for €30. Couldn’t have had a better holiday.
