아크티 팰리스 호텔

Loved everything about the Akti Palace (room, staff, food, cleanliness), except the sunbeds. They were far too low and difficult to get on and off and very uncomfortable (no cushions and metal framed made it extremely hard, to lie on, for any length of time).

This is the 1st time we have been to Kos after going to every other island, and we were not disappointed. The hotel is beautiful but what makes the hotel is the staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. From the reception, waiting team, Natalie and Sav who were always smiling when serving our drinks, Seb giving our 9 year old tennis lessons. I dont normally return to a hotel, but I would return to Akti Palace. It's very quiet but that's what we wanted as a family, if you want lots of entertainment/daytime activities go next door. The food was good, but I would say there could be more options at the pool bar. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool and Nick at the beach was very welcoming for the free kayak and pedalos. We used the free shuttle to the town which is a great add on for the holiday. The bathrooms are small and are a bath with a shower. 5 stars to the staff, we look forward to coming back.

Just returned from a fantastic family holiday at the Akti Palace. Myself, husband , teenage son and daughter, adult daughter and 2 grand-daughters all agree this has been one of our best holidays so far. The staff are fantastic and cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable. From our very late arrival George took us to the dining room for food and insisted on taking our luggage to our rooms. The food at the poolside bar and restaurant is all freshly cooked and replenished from the grills. There is a great variety of Greek, Italian, Asian cuisine and the British staple foods catering for all. The pool area is lovely, we never had a problem securing beds , sea facing, you can walk straight onto the beach where there are sunbeds and water sports. The hotel provides complimentary towels for the pool via the spa. Daytime entertainment organised by Marguerita and Leonardo , myself and granddaughters loved the morning aqua fit. Marguerita is a little ray of sunshine. Evening entertainment was excellent , the hotel book professional artists , and the young lady serving at the poolside bar on an evening, sorry I did not get your name ,was outstanding. From the first night she memorised everyone’s drinks and ensured no one ever had an empty glass. Always with a smile . Our rooms were well equipped with a mini bar which we occasionally used, but a gentleman came around every morning to refill if necessary. Our rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels always available. The bathrooms could do with a little upgrade but are very adequate. Last day help is offered with your cases if required, complimentary shower rooms are available to book for late departures. All in all we would definitely recommend this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Diane and Stuart Howard and family .

Recently returned from a fabulous holiday at Akti Palace. Amazing staff, beautiful hotel and facilities. Special shoutout to George (night shift) and George (breakfast and dinner - amazing!), and HUGE shoutout to Natella and Gustav at the pool bar who worked tirelessly and were so polite, pleasant, and good-humoured throughout. Thank you! We will return!

1st impressions were wonderful we arrived late with welcome drinks on arrival. Room was comfortavle, bathroom was dated. Clean towels daily with fresh pool towels available from the spa. We had issues with the bathroom and electric whilst there (i believed this was due to power cuts) however was advised that power to the room could be switched on manually however this didn't happen, despite our neighbours having theirs switched on who complained at the same time as us. The shower head snapped off in the fixture, the flusher went on the toilet and the bath plug got stuck. All were sorted however this meant I spent most of my holiday complaining to reception to which i just felt that we were being a nuisance. We were charged 85 euro for a late check out which we initially paid, however, due the issues we had i requested this back on our last day., to which following a few conversations with guest relations and eventually who i believed to be the hotel manager, we were provided with the refund. Overall, it was unfortunate that this was our experience. The hotel is loveky, the food in the main restaurant was wonderful, the staff who work there, in the maon bar and pool bar were fabulous to which regarding this element we have no complaint. The pool area coukd get busy however we always managed to locate 4 sunbeds so didnt struggle with this. The complimemtary shuttle bus to Kardemena is also a nice touch. Due to our experience, i would not rate the hotel 5* however our experience may not be someone elses. Its a shame, because if the bathrooms could be addressed and should residents experience issues then an apology be offered, and the hotel acknoweldge this with the individuals concerned, then this woukd go someway to resolving the small inconvenient issues that may arise.

If you’re looking for 5 star luxury, the Akti Palace Hotel is in my opinion, not that. However, I do not have a bad word to say about the hotel. We chose to stay in a room with shared pool outside primarily for the benefit of our 7 year old son. It was the right choice as we all made the most of it. Our room was basic but comfortable. The dated bathroom was its downfall. Food at the Akti Palace Hotel restaurant was okay but we found that eating at the Akti Beach Hotel restaurant to be so much better. Food on offer at the Akti Palace Hotel poolside bar was of a very good quality with unlimited soft & alcoholic drinks available. My son also made the most of the ice-cream there too ! A special mention to the Akti Palace Hotel receptionist Aspasia and the waiter at the Akti Beach Hotel Foti who my son took a real shine to. They both added to our very pleasant holiday.
