Experience top-tier amenities and a peaceful atmosphere for a truly relaxing getaway.Here are details about the property:Please check more detailed house rules in our welcome book, on our website.- When you pull up to the beautiful Walelia Getaway, you will find your parking in the driveway on the right hand side.There will be another vehicle parked to the left, so be sure to park only on the right hand side in front of the garage (Find attached).This will be your designated parking for one vehicle.- As you walk through the doors to the grand entrance hall, you will see your unit #2 for the Taro Suite, on the right hand side. This hall space is shared with our other suite, the Orchid Suite #1.There’s also a door at the end of the hall, which goes to our shared pool and backyard area. - Outside of your door, you will see two beach chairs and one beach umbrella for your use. There is a hose for footwash and an outside shower that you can utilize to wash off yourself and the equipment after the beach, located out in the parking area by the pond. (Find attached)- You will have electronic access to your unit, and your code will be given to you upon the day or before of your arrival. As you enter into your property, you will see a small, cozy room with a queen bed and fresh linens. The AC will be set to a cool temperature for you to have a comfortable time settling in. 
Please note that the door will automatically lock once you are inside the suite.- As you walk in, you will find a desk and working space on your left hand side with a lamp and a mirror, to your right you will find the fully loaded kitchenette with hot plate located under the sink. Also, under the sink, you will find a dish rack for clean dishes, paper, towels, and trash bags. There will be a fresh sponge and dish soap and a dish towel for your use as well. All of the dishes and cooking ware will be above the sink area in the cupboards and a Keurig coffee maker will be on the counter. Further right in the closet you will see additional appliances, toaster, blender, and Keurig coffee pods with creamer and sugar for your entire stay. Also, in this closet, you will find an iron and a small ironing board, as well as a laundry basket, hangers, and a step ladder.
When looking around your room, you will see that the TV has a Roku set up for your enjoyment. There’s also a dresser which will have two beach towels rolled nicely, and a couple nightstands with lamps by the bed. You will have a full bathroom, including a walk-in upgraded shower with all of the soaps, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and an added perk of biodegradable exfoliating sponges. This unit has solar, on-demand heating, and it takes a minute to travel from the source. Please turn the water on a couple minutes before you jump into the shower to be sure it’s at the right temperature. There will be four bath towels, four hand towels, and four washcloths in the bathroom for your use, as well as a black make up removal washcloth.- As you exit through the sliding glass doors, you’ll have your own private lanai with table and two chairs, as well as a couple boogie boards for your enjoyment. If you go right on the path, you will see the washer and dryer in our shared laundry room. This laundry room is shared with the other unit on property so you will need to wash and remove your items as soon as they are completed. There will be laundry soap in the room as well, for your use.- If you go back inside and back through your front door, you will take a right and head out the glass doors to your semi private heated saltwater pool. Our first-story walk out unit sits on a 35-acre beachfront resort with large rolling lawns, well maintained gardens, and a path that will take you right down to our beach, Hale O I'A Bay/Kiahuna Beach, within a few minutes. From the property you can walk in both directions, perhaps to the Sheraton for dinner or the Ali'i Luau or in the opposite direction to the main Poipu Beach (16 minute walk/3 min drive), famous for snorkeling, sleeping sea turtles and monk seals, and the incredibly delicious Puka Dog (banana and Hawaiian mustard is our recommendation...sounds wrong but it's so good!). Enjoy the vintage charm of this quant property with its planation shutters that allow the sounds of Hawaii that let the ocean breeze flow through our unit. Cross the street with a flashing light crosswalk and head up the marked path to the Athletic club where you can enjoy a pool with slide on one end and a zero/ "beach entry" on the other end for families with small children, play tennis and pickle ball, sign-up for yoga or pilates, lift weights, use cardio machines, and play outdoor volleyball. Definitely a great space for families or those seeking to keep up workout routines while on vacation. Towels, showers, water bottle refills, tennis rackets, and pickle ball paddles are all located at the Athletic club complimentary to guests. The Cabana Bar and Grill is also located there for some good eats or walk back down the path to the very popular Little Fish Coffee.Also, within walking distance is the Po'ipu Shopping Village with three solid restaurants, a Starbucks (opens early), and many shops. This shopping center takes us 3-4 minutes out the front door to reach. With a car, it only takes a few minutes to any of the above mentioned, including the main Poipu Beach, Shops at Kukuiula with some great restaurants and stores, and the Kiahuna Golf Club. It's a short drive to the village of Koloa for more eatery choices and food truck scene. Laundry facilities are not in the unit but a $3/load or credit card operated laundry facility is on the property, 7am-9pm.Cleaning fee is listed under "Host fee" when you check out. This money goes directly to our cleaning partner and not to the host.
