Season Bungalow

What a lovely peaceful location. The whole island is, by the way 😎. Really enjoyable stay of four (4) nights with the two of us. Spacious room, lovely staff. A top location on a perhaps less known island.. When you go, stay here!!

The location was nice as its right on the beach. The bungalows were a decent size but could use some upgrades. The hotel does have a restaurant on site with decent options so we didn't have to go very far to eat anything. Hotel staff were very kind and lovely to talk too. Koh Jum is a peaceful little island to spend a few quiet days relaxing on the beach reading a book and playing with some puppies.

The rooms and social areas are more spacious than other hotels. They have a few deck chairs on the beach front and there is a raised shaded area too. Their rooms are set off the beach where as other hotels are built into the cliff with better views. Weigh up the options, better view or better room? At first our hotel room was at the back near the road which was loud early on the mornings. Specify during the booking that you would like a room closer to the beach. When there was availability we changed to a different room and slept very well. The hotel staff are very accommodating and smiley. We had a lovely NY celebration with hotel at a reasonable price. With a buffet and tasteful entertainment. The beach area is the really nice. The second best beach in the neighbourhood. During high tide the rocks don’t bother you but during low tide you will have to avoid them a little. But Nothing dangerous or nothing that will effect you from getting into the sea. If you want the best beach, walk ten minutes the right, past the ‘rock bar’ and it’s perfect. My only suggestion for the hotel is to terminate the stingless bees that are nesting outside in the wood work of some of your rooms.

first of all the beach is Beautiful. The hotel is super quite. You can also have massage on the beach. The food at the restaurant is very good and not expensive at all. The staff is friendly and care about you.

Wir waren mit 2 Familien im November 2022 für 10 Tage im Season Bungalow. Ursprünglich waren 7 Tage geplant, wir haben um 3 Tage verlängert. Dies schon mal als Preview zur Bewertung. Die Anlage zieht sich als Schlauch von der sehr wenig befahrenen Straße zum Strand. Am schönen Strand befindet sich das Restaurant, inkl. Rezeption und Herzstück der Anlage. Es gibt viele überdachte Sitzplätze und einige Sitzplätze direkt am Wasser. Eine kleine Mauer trennt Meer und Resort ab. Die Mauer ist nicht störend! Es gibt genug Sitzgelegenheiten und Schaukeln am Strand, die zu einem schönen Flair beitragen. Die hervorragende Massage ist auch am Strand. Die Verpflegung war hervorragend und preislich fair. Viele Gäste kamen von außerhalb zum Essen. Top Frühstück (a la carte)! Super freundlich waren die Gastgeber und stets immer hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer: wir hatten das Glück die Bungalows direkt hinter den 2 SeaFronts zu ergattern. Wenn ich es richtig erkannt habe, sind auf der einen Seite die größeren Familienbungalows. 1 Familienbett Doppelbett und Einzelbett stehen zur Verfügung. Wir haben die Betten zusammengeschoben. Hat zu viert super funktioniert. Das Bad ist normal thailändisch und sauber. AC vorhanden. Es wurde täglich gereinigt und die Handtücher getauscht (wenn man es wollte). Die Terrasse ist großzügig und man hat direkte Aussicht aufs Meer. Generell ist die Anlage sehr gepflegt. Die Covid Zeit wurde eher zum Aufbau genutzt, als es verkommen zu lassen, wie an vielen anderen Stellen in Thailand. Für Kinder ist die Anlage sicher. Da man leicht erhöht sitzt, hat man eine gute Aussicht über das Gelände. Spielsachen liegen im Restaurant. Das Meer: Steine sind vorhanden, man kann sie aber auch bei Ebbe leicht umschwimmen. 2 x täglich Flut + Ebbe ;-). Bei Flut waren es 32 Schritte von Bungalow Nr. 3 bis ins Wasser. Die Sonnenuntergänge bekommen 9/10 Punkten. 1 Punkt Abzug gibt es, weil die Sonne nicht nicht im Meer unter geht, sondern hinter Koh PhiPhi. Dennoch einfach traumhaft. Die FuBar um die Ecke ist zu empfehlen (!!!) An der Straße gibt es mehre kleine Shops für das Notwendigste. Was fehlt sind ein paar Hängematten zum ganz ganz großen Glück. Dennoch sind wir 3 Tage länger geblieben als geplant und würden sofort wieder kommen! Preislich ist Koh Jum und das Season sehr fair. Direkte Anfragen sind günstiger, als über Booking & Co.
