Nestled in thick vegetation on a hilly terrain, geographically well located with beautiful lawn and landscape. Contextual architecture blend well with nature and making one to feel at home, providing the best comfort be a business or leisure stay. Both bengali and south indian chef provide authentic cucine that lingers in our mind and taste bud for long. The supporting staffs are absolutely humble, courteous and at service providing great experience throughout. In hospitality industry, it is quite difficult to get great matrix bringing in all together but this Tamara management pull out the best very well

From beginning to end, my husband and I had a marvelous time. Ajita David at the corporate office was extremely professional, prompt and helpful with our reservation which we had to change a couple of times. Check in was a simple ritual and Soumita helped us find the room that we liked. Very welcoming and efficient front office team, quick to respond to any need or to resolve an issue. The resort is in a serene setting, away from town so we could enjoy silence and dark nights; the room was open, with a beautiful high ceiling and a panoramic window from where we could enjoy the lovely scene below as fog rolled in waves. The food at the Bistro was uniformly excellent. A big shout out for Selva who is an exceptionally good Chef. He readily and happily made us the simple dishes we asked for, the comfort food we desired. We enjoyed our stay as much as we did because of his poriyals and podis. The staff at the restaurant without exception were all very attentive, always cheerful and ready to fulfill our smallest wish: Anjali, Daimon, Fauzia, and Jaya, always smiling and serving with good cheer. So too Thameem, Ramesh and Vamshi—quietly stepping in to do what was needed. Then there is Deb who took most of our orders, knew what we wanted even before we said the word, helped us often to choose from the menu and made us our nightly digestive of ginger tea with honey, and Vinay who always made sure that everything was in order. Kudos to all of them. Magheshwar Rajendran, Ajay Rana and Dinesh, the managers were friendly and professional, made every meal a pleasant affair. It was a delight taking a tour of Kodai with Ravinder with his engaging narrative full of local lore. Finally, the Elevation Spa. It is what it claims: a sanctuary for mind and body, every therapy a rejuvenating ‘anubhava’, be it the full body scrub with Moimoi or Abhyadhara with Anjali. Both of them have magic in their fingers. Dr. Vidya with her knowledge of Ayurveda guided me in choosing the therapies. I cannot thank her and her team enough for elevating my experience into a higher state of tranquility. It was awesome. We loved every moment of our stay at Tamara and thank everyone there for making it an unforgettable experience. After this exceptional experience, we will certainly consider other Tamara properties in our future trips to India.
