The Baby crèche is an absolutely amazing experience at this hotel! They do stay and play as well as drop off sessions for 2 hours babies 6-36 months, my little one is 8 months and she had the time of her life with Vicky & Kelly-Ann I’ll be forever grateful! It’s nerve wracking to leave your little one but was so nice to feel in safe hands, they both spoke perfect English and were really lovely & welcoming, there was a large amount of toys for the relevant ages and they did tailored fun sessions.

Second visit to this hotel. First was in August last year. Hotel was a little quieter this time around (Easter holidays) but staff levels were down that much you was queuing by the pool for drinks whereas last year there was more people but more staff so you was getting served a lot quicker. Can’t blame the staff they work so hard. Food again was okay, I’m a fussy eater so I can’t really complain. Snack bar is probably the best I’ve been too. Great facilities and views. Location could be slightly better, a little closer to the harbour and the centre of paphos. There is a bus stop outside so this helps. We had some cockroaches in the room (1216). Last year nothing and I’ve been to Cyprus 5 times and never once seen them. Plenty of lizards but not cockroaches. They seemed to be coming from the AC. Was reported twice but nothing really got done about it. I would stay again in a few years just not in room 1216 or anywhere on that floor! Would have been 4/5* if not for the certainly puts me off unfortunately.

We are a family of 3 (son 2yr old) and visited the hotel in November 2024, the last week before the end of season. Given its end of season, it was very quiet, meaning we didn’t have to queue for anything and was very relaxed. I imagine in height of season there might be a little waiting time but you would imagine the same in any hotel. Pro’s / cons for a family with a 2 year old; Pro: - staff were incredibly kid friendly, very approachable and engaging - kids area is good, but maybe more suited for 3+ - lots of food available - general buffet food was really nice, clean and lots of variety - rooms were very nice and clean and accommodated our needs for a 2 year old - entertainment was good, again, end of season so probably not as much as normal - amazing views of the sea - I would advise spending the extra for a sea view room otherwise you face the car park - restaurants (Italian and green and grill) had brilliant food, would happily pay outside of the hotel for that standard Cons: - pools were a little cold, but not a dealbreaker - being end of season felt service lacked a little, didn’t get towels one day for our room, water wasn’t restocked in our room etc. - the hotel obviously runs as half board too, which means they have prices on menus which is confusing, and sometimes thing you would expect to be included aren’t for a 5* - not really a beach nearby (but not the hotels fault) although you can go snorkeling which is really great - play park was more for older children, could do with some swings and little slides. Overall we had a brilliant relaxing time, I would happily return.

Bit late on writing this review because I realised I had it in drafts since we went 😂 We went in September 2024 as a family and we had a fantastic time. Cyprus is a bit like a second home to me as I’ve been going for over 25 years with family, but for the last 10 years we’ve always gone in villas so it was a bit daunting trying to find a hotel we would like. We booked a swim up room thinking it was a good idea with an 18 month old to have a private pool. Turns out we were more concerned about stopping her from running and diving in or running into next doors pool. The room was fantastic, the bed was huge and they supplied a decent cot for the little one. The room was always clean and topped up with drinks too. The food options were great and there was a sign each night saying what the theme was so if you weren’t a fan you could always make a reservation at one of the other restaurants. With a youngster going through the phase of ‘are they going to like anything I put in front of them today or will it end up all over the floor’ the buffet was ideal. They had little sections for children meals which did make it easier for us most days. If she didn’t want to eat when we did they had snack stations all over the place which was great too. The main pool was good but it did get busy so you had to get a bed early on. The kids waterpark at the top was usually quiet and easy to get beds though. Because the hotel only uses paper cups around the pool I’d advise that on the first day go to the shop over the road that is attached to the crazy spoon or up to Philipos supermarket to get some proper cups and bottles. The bar staff are more than happy to keep filling them up for you rather than the paper ones. There wasn’t really much of entertainment, especially on an evening so it was difficult to keep the youngster occupied on a night. Hopefully this has got better since All in all it’s a cracking hotel and everyone is rather friendly. We will be looking at going back this year hopefully!

We had a wonderful holiday at Mare Paphos! Everything was well taken care of from start to finish. The food was tasty and varied every day, and the cocktails were truly enjoyable. What stood out the most was how friendly and helpful the staff were — we felt welcome the entire time. One big highlight was the à la carte restaurant ‘Burger Club’. If you enjoy a good burger, this place is a must-visit. The staff there were by far the friendliest in the hotel — although, to be fair, everyone was incredibly kind. All in all, everything exceeded our expectations and we’d love to come back again!
