Another AWESOME Vacation in ”OurHappyPlace”!!!!! Margaritaville Resorts Orlando is so special to us that we consider everyone who lives and works there to be Our MRO Family!! The entire community is warm, welcoming, bright and beautiful, from the hotel to the cottages. As soon as we arrive we know we are in Paradise. We spend most of our day enjoying the beautiful pools and being greeted by our friends Jonathan, ”Lord Reginald”, Sara, Osma, Daniel ”Regina”, Ray, Bella, Daniel Plaza, Chris, Juan, William, Jeff and Santiago at the Towel Huts. They will all fill your day with fun and lots of activities. There is always something fun for Everyone!! The food at The Salty Rim Bar & Grill and the new Tiki Hut is truly amazing from the loaded nachos, the smokin' gun chicken sandwich or their salads. We enjoy the view and especially the company of our beloved bartenders Sean, Kristie, Danny, Angel, Jordan and Teresa as they ”POUR” their love into our drinks/buckets!!! Your day is also brightened by the friendly faces of Mauricio, Katherine, Tricia, Ana, Jay, Jacob, Frank, Marcus, Jessica, Clarissa, Gustavo, Ro, Rob and the rest of the amazing Margaritaville staff as they serve up food, drinks and of course SMILES as they run around the pool, cabanas, and beach area making sure everyone is Happy and enjoying their vacation. We truly feel special when the Managers like Scott at the hotel, Keith and our new buddy Joel at the Salty Rim, Jonathan and Regi with the Pool/ Activities and Debbie Mafra from the Fins Up Beach Club always take the time to say hello!!!! We greatly appreciate your hospitality and friendship!!! No matter where you go on the property you always encounter MRO staff that go out of their way to brighten your day like Jessica McGuire who always makes time to see us!!! The staff are friendly & the location is great, being near to a multitude of dining and shopping options and close to various Disney attractions. Room was acceptable-at least for an emergency three night stay dictated by a cancelled cruise. Furnishings are basic from this trim level of Choice property, which is to say they are dated and worn; bed springs made agonized screeches whenever we moved. Floor was also not very clean, leaving socks & shoes black after walking around the room. Bathrooms are small, with threadbare towels and below average water pressure & temperature. Elevators are incredibly slow and extremely hot, and the attached restaurant seems to have been closed. Overall its acceptable if you need a few nights near WDW on the cheap, but otherwise there are many better options in the area for not a drastic increase in price.

This is my second time coming to this place with the kids. They are in the process of renovations but for the price and what you get nobody should have any complaints. They say you can only have one bag of ice but I took two or three a day and nobody ever said anything. Everyone there is very nice and accomodating. They have a kitchen and microwave and I brought food and fed the kids so that we didn't have to go out and eat. Never had a problem with room or A/C. There are no bugs or critters. I am planning my next trip for this year. Don't plan on eating there as the food choices are slim and very short hours of operation but there are TONS of restaurants in the local area and an ice cream shop a few blocks down. Thats all kids want anyway. Sheets, room are always clean. Older hotel but they have fixed it up nicely. Major complaint (and huge loss of money for them) is they have a game room that is not air conditioned so it gets very little use. It is disappointing as the kids would enjoy it, but Im not one for sitting in a sauna. They keep the doors open because it is so hot. The laundry is not air conditioned either. Don't book for a Monday as I don't know why but the water park is not open then and you won't know until you get there. Locals can go Tuesday through Thursday night and it is extremely reasonable. They let you use the waterpark if you are early and have to wait to check in and they let you use it the whole day you check out!! Well worth it for a young family!!

Having travelled throughout Greece and most of Europe this hotel has a beautiful flair of European style, warmth and hospitality. Very beautifully decorated with aromas of my favorite fragrance, Santal 33 throughout the hotel including the room toiletries. The restaurant Salt and the Cellar have amazing cuisine and excellent service. Overall, I give this hotel 5 stars as this exceeded my expectation of American hotels. The attention to detail and service to guests was truly VIP.
