Great hotel! Room was clean and spacious with original decor. Food and service was excellent. Drinks at the bar at night was a very chilled experience and we were made to feel most welcome. Good selection of beers and decent selection of malt whiskey for the end of the night. Selection for breakfast was good and the service was quick and friendly.

The owners have done a fabulous job renovating this hotel and it looks like they’ve spared no expense. Having visited the hotel in its previous guise, the transformation is spectacular and you’d hardly recognise the place. Quality fixtures and fittings, comfy beds, superb showers and tasteful decor. We had a brilliant dinner in their warm and friendly restaurant and then relaxed in the bar with a couple of whiskies and some good banter with the staff. After a hearty and tasty breakfast, we left in good spirits and vowing to return soon… shouting about this great wee find from the rafters to anyone who will listen. 5 stars all round

Great bar & lounge with friendly staff. Good to see the place alive in the middle of the town again. Looks like a lot of effort has gone into the restoring the public spaces and rooms. My wife loves the tiles, very unique! Can’t wait to come back again.

A very warm welcome to the Hogmanay party. Buffet and drinks, games and karaoke. The hosts behind the bar are fabulous. Alyth is just a lovey wee place where community spirit shines through. You are made to feel extremely welcome. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a lovely standard and has a wonderful cosy feel to it. I highly recommend a visit. We will be back
