Another excellent stay. We keep coming back and will continue to do so. The whole operation is professional, relaxed and friendly. The food continues to be excellent.

Such an amazing pub to stay in, the owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is the best food we have ever eaten, their chef is incredible! The room was gorgeous with such a comfortable bed and a lovely little bathroom. We cannot wait to stay again as this will be a home from home for us.

We were staying for a friend’s special birthday function with lunch, supper and breakfast, all of which were good. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, courteous, attentive helpful making the whole experience most enjoyable.

Visited on a whim especially after seeing £200 for db&b for a double room. Rooms are fine with very comfortable beds, which is so important. The food in the restaurant was interesting and well cooked and presented - also most of the menu was available on the deal with just a few pounds to pay for the most expensive items (£3 plus for a £18 appetiser). We had to go on a diet after eating 3 courses for 2 nights running! My husband enjoyed the choice of beer whilst I was happy with the selection of wines by the glass, especially the wine of the month, a lovely Chablis.

...didn't disappoint. The welcome we received on arrival was warm and friendly, and every item of food throughout our 3 day stay was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Thank you to all the staff we met during those days for making our stay so good
