I’ve never felt compelled to leave a review like this before, but after my experience here, I feel it’s only right to warn others. I stayed at this hotel recently and unfortunately ended up covered in painful, blistering bites from what I can only assume were bed bugs. Another guest sharing the same room — from a different town and home — experienced the exact same reaction. We reported this immediately and while pest control was apparently called in, the hotel denied finding any evidence and dismissed our experience, despite the severe physical reactions, photos, videos, and medical advice we had to seek. (Finding one on my suitcase and having to throw it away) The lack of empathy, accountability, or even basic follow-up has been deeply upsetting. Not only have I had to deal with ongoing, painful bites (some of which blistered and leaked) but the stress of having to deep clean my home, throw away belongings, and worry about potential infestation has been exhausting. What made this worse was the hotel’s failure to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation or offer any form of meaningful support or reimbursement. It’s not just about a refund — it’s about how you treat people when something goes wrong. Sadly, this hotel fell well short of basic decency in handling the aftermath. I would strongly urge anyone considering staying here to think twice.
