Very big hotel. Stayed in 2 different rooms and the smell was quite funny. Like they use only water to wash the towels and bed sheets. I guess the humidity doesn’t help either. Bathroom in the first room ( wich was in the old building i guess) was not cleaned. 3 stars hotel . Not 5 .just the view is 5 star :)

Personnels désagréables, accueil non chaleureux, pour un hôtel 5 étoiles c’est désastreux. Le mange est très moyen. L’hôtel resemble à une secte. Déplorable, il y a que l’hôtel et l’endroit qui est beau le reste c’est tout à revoir. C’est presque 0, au vu le prix que coûte l’hôtel on paie aussi un services.

Un hotel que paso desapercibido. Tenía las expectativas. La ubicación era buena pero las distancias eran muy grandes. Para llegar a la playa había que recorrer un camino muy difícil y complicado y cansador. El hotel era muy grande y muchas habitaciones y los empleados no daban a basto. Muy mala atención y servicio ya que varias veces necesitamos algo y nunca nos solucionaron nada. La habitación muy antigua y la tv no era smart algo que para un hotel 5 estrellas como dicen ser no debería ser. La habitación muy antigua pero la limpieza muy bien. Las vistas de la habitación al mar eran excelentes. Para llegar a la habitación parecía un laberinto y los ascensores no se entendían y eran pequeños y antiguos. El servicio all inclusive de destino y cena era normal. Esperaba un poco más. Para reservar en algún restaurant del hotel te cobraban extra y además tenías que pagar lo que consumías. La relación precio calidad no me pareció correcta. No lo recomendaría ni volvería.

My partner and I were keen to see this hotel in person as we had been reading mixed reviews. We arrived very late and the reception staff were so kind and helpful, offering us a welcome drink as we arrived and some sandwiches. We were taken down to our room with our suitcase in the buggy’s which is a great idea as we knew the hotel was hilly. Having known the room was in the older block, we noticed some things were dated, old and worn although an okay room to stay in, even if the pictures didn’t match on the website, we knew what we were in for having read reviews. Although the balcony had the most amazing sea view. The next morning before breakfast we asked whether there was another room available, the lady at reception was so lovely informing us there would be one either that day or most definitely tomorrow for us to look at and change if we wanted. Breakfast was lovely, wide selection of food, topped up constantly by the staff and the outside seating was beautiful every morning. We noticed that they had given us the all inclusive letter which was incorrect as we went half board, we mentioned this to reception and she let us know it was a free upgrade was such a lovely surprise, thank you it was amazing to have a fresh lunch everyday and drinks by the pool and beach. The pools were perfect always an available sun bed, we did prefer the quieter pool at the top as the other main pool had music playing, not like we didn’t mind, although found ourselves by the other pool more often. The beach was perfect, toilets nearby and a bar to get drinks from. Recommend watching the sunset on the beach, it was breathtaking. There was a mini market on the beach which was convenient. We ate at the restaurants along the front of the beach, all amazing with traditional Greek food. Thalassa, Sebastian’s taverna, Ark, Ortholithi and Sea Breeze. The place is very hilly, nothing we couldn’t handle, although slightly challenging in the heat or after going out for dinner but the view is worth it. We pre booked a Catamaran trip with lunch, which was so much fun, three stops for swimming and a lunch with drinks on board. The crew were lovely always making sure we had drinks and never rushed us to stop swimming. Definitely recommend a boat trip in Greece. We took a trip to Corfu old town, provided by the hotel, €24 for a return. Overall this hotel is beautiful, everything we wanted, especially after the upgraded room but even then the older block just needs some tlc and it is a base to stay in but we were grateful for the upgrades, really made our holiday more special. The reception staff were so lovely! Lots of entertainment in the hotel and two different bars to sit at during the evening. We would recommend this hotel as it is shows how beautiful Corfu is, thank you again for everything La Grotta Verde.

We had an amazing stay as a group of 6. The staff were friendly and attentive. The location is stunning with spectacular sea views. Food was great, Drinks were great, Entertainment was good. The location is quiet but we enjoyed walking along the beach to the shops. Dawn, the Guest Relationship Manager was extremely helpful. We hope to return.

We have just returned from a wonderful trip to this hotel and resort and can’t speak highly enough about how friendly all the staff were during our stay. We had a slight issue with our original room upon arrival but this was dealt with swiftly and to our satisfaction buy the Guest Relations Manger Dawn who was outstanding. Also special thanks to Sophie who was very helpful with our Resturant reservations and continued to check in on us with a smile on her face everyday. Great hotel, amazing views which resulted in a most enjoyable stay.
