Very nice hotel service very good we arrived early morning after long flight and they got us a room by 12 even though 1500 was check in time which we was very grateful for, food was excellent , the complex close by was like vegas with nice restaurants

So close to the airport this hotel 🏨 is perfect 😍 for getting over a long ✈️ flight from uk 🇬🇧 . No aircraft noise at all. Our first time in Africa. We stayed for 2 nights. Great complex next door with ****** 🎰. It’s a bit like a mini vegas. Lovely staff. Breakfast you pick from the menu and prepared to order. The pool 🏊‍♀️ isn’t open till April but the ducks 🦆 seemed to like it. Loads of restaurants to choose from in emperor’s complex. You can use walkway from hotel lobby to get there. We went to hooters one night and tribe (wagyu beef 🥩 amazing) the other. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful reception area. Stunning decor over the Christmas holiday. Unfortunately the overall stay wasn’t great. The hotel isn’t very kid friendly. I requested a kettle for the room as I was traveling with my 1 year old and needed to make his bottle. Both reception and housekeeping blatantly refused and didn’t try to assist. Resturant downstairs was decent , the host was pleasant and welcoming. But again, the Resturant did not cater for kids. We requested a baby chair , after refusing to assist - they eventually brought us a baby chair. Every morning for the 3 days that we stayed - this was a problem for staff. We also requested a cot for the room , which they happily assisted but every day the cleaning ladies would dismantle it and remove all the sheets so every afternoon we had put this cot together. The housekeeping staff did not put in clean towels and we had to make 6 calls to reception and housekeeping for bath towels. Definitely not what I expected.

Vegas style resort, less than 10 years old, but starting to show wear. Staff were wonderful, but some things took longer to arrive than you would hope. Not much to do if you don’t gamble. Reign was good food, and food court in complex.

On the plus side - the breakfast was good and the hotel is close to some nice restaurants and the airport. That aside it’s very difficult to find my other positives. The rooms and bathrooms are dated and don’t appear to have been renovated since the hotel was first build 25 years ago. WIFi was a significant issue - we could barely get any WiFi in our first room and after half a day we were eventually moved to a different floor. The WiFi I; t(e new room was much better but it would still kick out for 30 seconds every 5 minutes or so. The TV signal was based on the WiFi which meant it freezing every couple minutes. I tried to watch some live sports which was impossible. The shower temperature would randomly alternate between hot to cold and was unpleasant and dangerous. The bathroom towels were hard and not nice to use. The toiletries were good quality. My wife booked a spa treatment and it was an extremely unprofessional and non-spa like experience. Spa treatments should be quiet noice free relaxing experiences , without constant maintenance and very loud people noise. General staff service was ok , with some good and some not so good , but nothing happened quickly. Overall the hotel is extremely overpriced for the quality and experience and I would not recommend it to anyone.

We stayed at this hotel due to all on onsite things to do. Your a short walk from a ******, loads of bars and restaurants. It’s only a few minutes from the airport and a free shuttle bus transports you to and from airport every 30 mins. The room are comfy and spacious m, nice size bathrooms. Breakfast was included and there was a great choice to eat. Very nice place to stay

We stayed 4 nights before embarking on our Safari. Beautiful hotel. Beds are very comfortable and hotel is very clean and decorated with fresh flowers. Staff are warm and helpful and we never waiting more than 1 min for front desk. The spa is high end. Treatment rooms larger and nicer than those in London UK. Enjoyed a fee good massage, floatation pool and scrubs. Recommended. Breakfast is good with a huge choice and the steak in Reign last night was excellent. The hotel is attached to a ****** and complex which is filled with a variety of restaurants and we even caught a film at the cinema. This is a really good hotel and we would stay here again. At close to £250 a night it is overpriced, but very safe, clean with lots to do.

Check in was great. Location is good if you need to stay for a night or so if you need to stay more nights you better of with other hotels for same price. Its definitely not value for money. We got a room on 1st floor was very noisy. Rooms run down Furniture run down Bathroom very very tight. Staff not the best and have experienced better customer service at marriott. Marriott in melrose would be far greater choice!
