Cute hotel in a really good location, the management are so lovely and will go above and beyond. The only minus is that it seems like it could do with a slight renovation to clean things up. Please visit Avithos preview restaurant and beach which is a short walk from the hotel it’s breathtaking!!!

We stayed at Leivatho Hotel for three nights and loved it. The hotel is excellent, well located, beautiful and well maintained. Excellent reception, wonderful rooms, large, well decorated. And we stayed in the simplest room in the hotel. Very good breakfast. Excellent service. The hotel owner was always present. Good wifi signal. I highly recommend this hotel on this wonderful island of Kefalonia.

I stayed at Leivatho for my friend's wedding who got married elsewhere in Kefalonia as it offered better bang for your buck than some of the rival accommodation. The hotel has a large-ish pool, sauna and decent gym. But that's it in terms of facilities. It has a breakfast buffet every morning with hot and cold choices and fresh fruit, but not a real wide variety if being nitpicky. Lunch and dinner are available at an extra cost but not too expensive. Just beware of bees outside that will swarm your food... But the staff light coffee beans which acts as a deterrent! I can't remember the waitress's name who served all the guests pretty much by herself as she worked really hard. The staff at the front desk were also kind, friendly and helpful! The rooms are HUGE and spacious with Aircon to deal with the infamous Greek heat. They were so comfortable like being at home. The rooms were also cleaned immediately and spotless each day. There was also generous bathroom soaps and shampoos. The shower was also the best I've ever used! (Although I'll never get over Greece's rules on flushing toilet paper!) The hotel has great value for a four star. Some of my friends staying at the Astra village had ants in their rooms and paid more than I did. Be aware the location is isolated from civilization so if you want to go to Argostoli where all the main bars, restaurants and attractions are, unless you hire a car, you have to take a taxi which was 25-30 euros each way and became quite costly. But overall I'd recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at Leivatho Hotel last week, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, Maria and her fantastic crew ensured we had the best time at the hotel and exploring the island. George, the hotel manager, is an extraordinary individual. His humor and willingness to help with anything we needed made our stay even more enjoyable. The service he provides is exceptional and truly sets this hotel apart. The breakfast was superb, offering a complete and fresh spread every morning. They serve the best fresh orange juice on the island! The room was much larger than those at most other hotels in the area, super comfortable, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the heat. The location is ideal, with Avithos Beach just 200 meters from the hotel—a nice walk that leads you to two cool tavernas. There are also many beautiful beaches close to the hotel, making it a perfect base for exploring the island. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be coming back next year. Chapeau to Maria and the team for making our vacation unforgettable!

A stunning hotel. We arrived late in the evening but were met by George who was so friendly. We had a complimentary drink in the bar and even though it was late nothing was too much trouble. We sat outside overlooking stunning scenery and a large immaculate pool. The room was excellent. Large, beautifully furnished, with everything you could possibly want. The way the rooms are laid out means you feel incredibly private and the gardens are amazing. Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this. It was only 10 minutes from the airport but was still in the middle of amazing countryside. The staff here made us feel very welcome. It really felt like being part of a family. We will definitely go back, a real gem.

This was the starting point to exploring the island and we stayed three nights to acclimatise. The hotel itself was very stylish and loved the design and use of concrete, the rooms were spacious and the pool looked nice although didn't use it as I prefer the beach which was conveniently located a few minutes walk away (also a couple of good tavernas there). Service was excellent and really hit a note, everyone was helpful friendly and accommodating especially Maria on the front desk and Panos in the restaurant / bar area. We had dinner there one evening which was good and breakfast (buffet style) had most things anyone would want. Suffice to say I would definitely stay again and being ten minutes drive from the airport a major plus if you're arriving in the evening.
