Beautiful clean and relaxing hotel, welcoming and friendly staff, from reception, restaurant, bar and clean staff! Lovely food! Great choice! Loved every minute of our stay . Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely friendly smiley staff .

From the moment we arrived to the time we left after a week there we enjoyed ourselves. We were staying all inclusive in the maisonette rooms in the Sensus part of the hotel, which is the best part to stay in because of the exclusive use of the beautiful pool and bar in this area. We were two friends with two teenage kids. The kids just loved the private pool there and the staff are just so lovely. Food and drinks are just lovely. Room has everything you need with a great shower separate from the toilet. The hotel is immaculately clean. There is a lovely restaurant right next to the hotel we ate in too which was fab aswell. We did a boat trip with lunch and snorkelling into a cave. We went to a water park called Watercity which is cool. Beach is walking distance about 10 mins but there are no paths. Cars are mindful of this but care is needed. I would definetly recommend the hotel and would return. There are lots of excursions to book and Gouves is great base to stay in but best to fly into Herklion abd not Chania if staying here. Chania is 2 and a half hour drive to Gouves. If I went back Id book a "swim up" room in the Senus part or one of the "jacuzzi" rooms.

Very welcoming from the moment we arrived. Porter took our bags to our room. All the staff were lovely, polite & helpful ☺️ A good selection of food at every mealtime, something for everyone. The spa treatments were lovely & relaxing. Our room was right by the smaller pool which was fantastic. The a la carte restaurant meal was amazing & plenty to eat. All in all a lovely hotel, friendly, polite staff & would definitely recommend.

The hotel was beautiful and like many of the reviews say, the staff were the highlight. They were so attentive and friendly and always open to help. As soon as we arrived we were assisted with our bags, promptly checked in and shown to our room. We got the most basic of the rooms and it was fine, decor was quite dated and certainly nothing fancy. The photos advertised on the site are almost exclusively the sensus rooms so be aware that most of the rooms are rather basic. The food was plentiful and varied, can definitely get a bit repetitive at times for certain things but you won’t go hungry that’s for sure. The drinks were strong but tasty and overall we just had a lovely time. There was a ***** of shops and restaurants and bars nearby that we liked to frequent, as well as some supermarkets to get some snacks for ourselves. Beach is a 15 minute walk away and the closest bus stop is 5 minutes away and takes you straight into Heraklion.

Me and my friend stayed at the hotel for a nice relaxing couple of days. We were booked under all inclusive. It wasn't bad but also not great. Wines and cocktails were bad. The food was decent but expected more from it. Bar staff around the pool area were kind and always made sure that you had enough to drink. Nena at breakfast just has an amazing attitude and here positivity is great:). The room was pleasant, but nothing special and the bathroom was small and old! Housekeeping knocked on our door one morning at 9 am while we were still sleeping, that was also the only time they tried to clean the room as we came back after a full day out to an unmade room. We booked some spa treatments which were lovely and felt very relaxing. Dimitra did a great job, thank you! All in all it is a decent place to stay but the value for money is not what I expected.

Had a 10 day vacation and paid for a superior double room (Ourania) with private pool, this was worth the money and gave us a very relaxing private holiday experience. The house keeping staff are great and come each day to your room to replace towels, remake beds and clean shower w/c and mop floors. My wife made use of the spa massage treatments twice during our stay, she had a full body candle massage with warm oils and all over body scrub 1st and then a foot and neck massage both with Silvana who was fantastic. I also had the the full body candle massage with Dimitra and it was my first ever massage and it was great. The spa gym is pretty good with a selection of cardio and weights. We had half board and enjoyed the breakfast but ate out of an evening as there are plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from, so not sure what the hotel evening dining experience is like. The dining staff are very attentive and always happy to see you at breakfast. I think I will book here again.
