Motel One Karlsruhe

Having enjoyed Motel One before we were pleased to find a spacious modern reception and lovely stylish bar area with a huge array of drinks available. It is possible to park in a car park next to the hotel, if there is room, for about €20. You pay for the convenience. There are several cheaper public options not far away if you prefer. We received instructions from the receptionist and arrived at our room on the seventh floor. It was the smallest room we have ever stayed in and overlooked the balconies of nearby flats. A net and black out curtains ensured privacy. The room was spotless with a hanging area and coat pegs. Plenty of lights ensure great lighting when needed. The bathroom was small but had a good shower and plenty of towels. Shower/shampoo was provided in the shower cubicle. The basin plug could not be moved so water couldn’t be retained in the bowl. The bedlinen was very good and, although only a double bed, it was fairly firm but comfortable. The room was quiet and a good night’s sleep is possible. A shame the room was so very small as the Motel One concept is great. It was fine for a one night stay but might feel a little claustrophobic for longer periods. Many of the clientele seemed to be business people. It is to be recommended and we would return.

The hotel is brand new and nicely located, allowing to easily visit the city by foot. The rooms are very (very!) small and thus not very convenient but the bedding is good and soundproofing was pretty efficient. Wifi is excellent and there is a nice bar in the lobby. A good choice for a short stay at a quite reasonable price. Note that the parking is conveniently located below the hotel but is expensive. The nearby public parking is 5 minutes away and half the price.

Gut erreichbar, schönes Haus, sauberes Zimmer, gemütliche Bar, freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Barteam. Es wird schon deutlich vor zehn Uhr begonnen, das Frühstück abzuräumen, das stört. Die Bar ist sehr gemütlich und hat einen ausgezeichneten Service.

Questo grande hotel, presumo di recente costruzione, si trova nella zona centrale di Karlsruhe. Ampio ingresso che si collega con un'area bar molto ben arredata, che presumo sia utilizzata anche da non ospiti dell'hotel, viste le dimensioni e soprattutto la vastissima scelta di alcoolici in particolare una lista di gin infinita. L'hotel, visto probabilmente l'elevato numero di camere, è dotato di 4 ascensori, che evitano così nei momenti di punta lunghe attese. Camere piccole ma pulite, senza frigobar, tv con un solo canale italiano (di solito nemmeno quello) piccola cassaforte, non prese usb ormai diffusissime. Bagno pulito privo di accessori se non il sapone liquido e l'asciugacapelli, bidet mancante (è un classico) ma bella e pratica doccia. Può risultare fastidioso il fatto che sullo schermo tv appaia un caminetto con legna che arde, che può essere eliminato spegnendo lo schermo ma riappare, pare, tutte le volte che si rientra in camera. Unico aspetto che può non essere particolarmente gradito è la zona dedicata alla colazione, il bar, sia per il tipo di arredamento, non proprio il top per mangiare, che per il fatto che nelle ore di punta risulta difficoltoso trovare posto, l'offerta è comunque ampia a parte l'assenza delle solite uova strapazzate, solo sode, e bacon.Ottimi i piccoli croissant al burro Ultima nota: sotto l'hotel c'è un pratico parcheggio a pagamento con accesso diretto, purtroppo è piccolo per cui si riempie rapidamente.

Schönes Hotel, gute Lage. Alles fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Toller Service, bei kurzer Wartezeit an Rezeption wurde direkt Wasser gereicht. Personal war äußerst freundlich, sehr zuvorkommend. Ob der Reinigungsdienst oder Rezeption, alles sehr höflich. Beim Frühstück sehr aufmerksam, nett und schön. Alle Speisen und Getränke Bio, für 16,90€ sehr gut! Matratze recht hart, zwei Kissen pro Person im Bett.

Ich bin immer gerne in einem Motel One Hotel zu Gast. Da weiß ich was ich bekomme bzw. was mich erwartet. Daher habe ich mich auch über die Eröffnung eines Motel One in Karlsruhe gefreut. Was mich wieder überzeugt hat ist die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeiter. Auch die Zimmer sind entsprechend top. Was für mich jedoch ein absolutes Unding ist, ist die geringe Anzahl an Parkplätzen und die damit einhergehende geringe Anzahl von Lademöglichkeiten für ein eFz. Und das bei einem flammneuen Hotel (eröffnet im Frühjahr 2024). Schade. Denn das parken in einer Tiefgarage die fussläufig in 5-10 Minuten zu erreichen ist, ist suboptimal. Das gleiche gilt für einen öffentlichen Parkplatz in Hotelnähe.
