Hotel York

Hotel is good. Good location. Quite and peace. Only things..is hot water usage is limited. You cant bath even 5 minutes. Hot water become cold again while bath. They should use centralised hot water system. Other than this issue, all.is.good. staff very polite and humble. Clean and nead.

Although from the outside it might look like a good hotel, but the rooms were not good at all. We ordered some food, which was served cold. I won't say the services were bad. But they should have considered that the food was already cold and shouldn't have served it. The staff was not rude but wasn't welcoming either. Also nothing was working in the room neither the electric blanket not the geyser. The location of the hotel is good it has access to the local market by walk.

Don't make a mistake to book this hotel, don't ruin your trip, staff of this hotels is very very rude and non cooperating. they don't know how to behave and talk with their guests. they are taking unnecessary charges from you. I stayed at kashmir for 7 nights, all the kashmir and kashmiri peoples are awesome but I have worst experience only this hotel. Property is also below average and below 1 star, don't have any basic amenities. Rooms are smelly & dirty bathroom, this hotel staff is only money minded so don't spoil your mood and ruin your awesome trip.

Room size was not like premium one, they dont have any food option in lunch, they told us to have lunch outside of the hotel which was difficult for us as senior citizen to walk around 15 min and have lunch, even their included food which was breakfast and dinner not worthy, so i would suggest dont include dinner in your package if possible. This hotel not recommend from us Food, room, staff behaviour , specially receptionist

it was the worst experience. the staff was so rude they do not have ***ners to talk and they have written outside food is not allowed but at 9:00 p.m. when we have asked for food then the deny for giving food as they have no restaurant and menu.... by 9:30 p.m. they were telling us you can bring outside food. There was so ***y issues like intercom phone was not working, the housekeeping staff doesn't know how to make a bed.... we have to do it for our kids by our own. They were simply denied for everything... when we complain the ***ager Mr Sharma ,he told us to check out right now if you don't like the hotel, he was so rude... in the morning he was not ready to give us proper breakfast he just serve bread butter, toast butter and tea.. when we ask for more options he just denied, he said if you want any food item, you have to pay for that, why should we pay if our online booking is with breakfast. Rooms were so small , do not go by the photography....no space for kids bedding in delux and primium rooms too..only in suits you can stay with your kids....i suggest not to go in hotel york....you can find somthing better than this....

The service was very poor. The hotel has very good exterior but the interior is not at all good. The hotel is not well maintained. The staff is very rude. The outside is not allowed and they even do not have any in house restaurant. They will serve less variety in the breakfast if there are no other guest in hotel. After complaining they asked us to check out if we did not like the service.

Great property for stay really enjoyed the visit service of hotel is beautiful rooms are neat and clean food is delicious loved the food kashmir is just amazing loved place for tourists willbe come again definitely for visit thanks for amazing hospitality

good people and very friendly, provided support to get various locations in kashmir. Location of Hotel is very nice. ***ager of the hotel is very accommodative, he becomes my friend and provided all sort of support

Had a great time staying here..! One of the good big hotels in Dal lake area..! Owners here are very helpful..! They don’t misguide you and help you in every possible way. On top of that this hotel have a very supportive and helpful staff, specially Chef Rayees and his staff member Deep..! Main USP of the hotel is the food .. which is awesome. Chef and his team take extra care of you and your preferences..! Overall good experience.
