Calder Motel

We were on our way to a family function in Sebastian. We stopped at the motel on the way to pick up the keys, then returned back after the event. The locations great, the bed was comfortable and it was nice and quiet. It was a really hot day, and the aircon was already on for us when we arrived! This small touch was greatly appreciated! We would stay here again

Terrible experience. The air conditioner didnt work properly and by the time I got back to the room and realised, reception had closed. It was also so noisy that I had to turn it off, and so kept showering every 30 minutes until 1 am when it cooled down a little. Everything about the room screams budget motel. The only thing going for the motel is the friendliness of the staff member. So given the noise from trucks on the highway, the bed which is basically a sofa bed, the sink that is not part of the bathroom and the price, I wont be staying again. Great room at a great price. Good off street parking with a comfy bed. Had great parking for the bike too although, was a bit of a tight squeeze. Small pool there, but does the job. Best part for me was it had great shower pressure and after being on the bike in hot temperatures all day, was just the ticket. Staff were second to none.

The best you could get at those rates. Air conditioned rooms and ideal place in the city. No pressure from the staff about leaving the place early. You get your own fridge, microwave and laundry stuff in the room as well. A great experience overall.

I have been staying at the Calder Motel every fortnight for the last month and a half and it has always been a great experience each time. It is in a convenient location, it’s affordable especially if it’s last minute, and the beds are soo comfy

A nice little spot on the way into Bendigo. Has everything you need at a budget price. Clean and tidy rooms. Close to so many shops, walking distance too them also. Staff were friendly. Nice big tv. Will use again. Thanks for our second visit team.
