Luxury stay nestled in the hills of Kandy. The room was excellent - the service, both at the room and dining - was impeccable. Subtler nuances - extra water in the room, cleaning of the bathroom without being asked to do so, excellent quality of the extra bed - absolutely top notch. The food was delicious. Scratching my head to dig out improvement areas - perhaps the pool ladder could be a little less 'loose', one of the blinds in the room was 'slipping' when pulled, the shaving razor/creamer were not replaced once... In all, an absolutely no brainer - go get pampered!

A very easy place to be with wonderful Sri Lankan hospitality. Our room was amazing and super comfortable with lots of space and amazing views of the trees and the monkeys were very entertaining. The food was great! The Sri Lankan curry was delicious and huge!

Beautiful and tranquil place. Great staff, housekeeping and service. Delicious food. We had a wonderful spa treatment with Ranuka.

We had a fantastic experience at King’s pavillion. The location and the views were gorgeous and the personnel took very good care of us. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, and spent time by the lovely pool. The rooms were large, and the bathrooms really beautiful. We were very happy with our stay, would recommend this.

We had an incredible stay at Kings Pavilion. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind. The views are spectacular. We were only here for one night but the dinner was absolutely exceptional and the breakfast was lovely. Wish we had more time here and look forward to visiting again in the future.

The hotel is serenely set in the hills above Kandy. The hotel and rooms are beautifully designed in modern Sri Lankan architecture with a beautiful garden, view and pool. The staff are super helpful and professional. The food is amazing. It offers both a Sri Lankan and western menu. It is close to Kandy but not too close. We would highly recommend it to friends and family.

Fabulous place to stay. Great food, service excellent. Room was a dream, very private and surrounded by beautiful plants. Animals and birds abundant. A real. Retreat from the hustle of Kandy only minutes away. Can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay so memorable.

We stayed for one night in April whilst travelling through sri lanka and wished we had booked longer! The property is in a spectacular setting with one of the best panoramic views and incredibly peaceful whilst being conveniently located close to kandy city centre. The staff were all so attentive and friendly and the turn down service was a particular highlight! We could not recommend this hotel more, felt like a home away from home 💜

We are a family of six with four kids aged 8, 10, 12 and 14 and traveled Sri Lanka for 13 days. The Kings Pavillion was our third hotel - and, unfortunately, the least excellent one during our holidays. The service was fine and friendly but not as welcoming and heartful as in other destinations. One morning, we had a really tight timing and let every one know in advance so the staff could prepare (we wanted to pre-order which we were told was not necessary). When we arrived at 7 am for breakfast as announced - no one was there and it took another 15 minutes before we could finally start breakfast. We had two junior suites; they were perfectly clean and we really liked the animal towel contructions! :-) However, there was only one small cupboard in our room with no room for hanging longer clothes, like dresses. The food was good but not exceptional - small surprise: butter and jam for breakfast were single-packed products. We did expect more in a 5 star hotel (which was confirmed by what we got in other places we stayed).
