Stayed here recently. Pros.. conveniently located on the riverfront promenade, clean rooms, comfortable beds,  good air-conditioning, excellent WiFi speed. Cons... Shower curtain required in the bathroom - the floor gets really messy after a shower, measly portions in their onsite restaurant, poor service in the restaurant... local staff spend more time on their phones and gossip rather than attending to customers.

Very good value hotel overlooking the river. Quite basic rooms but clean. Bathroom could be better and air conditioning took a long time to cool the room. Bar has daily happy hour. Dinner was excellent and nice breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Lovely little place which genuinely cares about their guests. Lovely rooms that are clean & spacious hotel in a great location. Food is very very good and the staff are great are fantastic fun - always smiling, always helpful and often very up for a laugh.

Best location in Kampot. Right on the river walk. Rooms are updated, comfortable and clean with good Wi FI and CNN. Breakfast comes with the room rate, and is excellent. Great restaurant for happy hour or dinner. Excellent staff and service. Ask for a room in the back to avoid street noise.

Very nice hotel, and room. Spacious bathroom but sadly because of the wood in the shower an unpleasant smell in the bathroom when the wood is wet (shower was leaking so basically all the time). Because all the rooms are on street level and there is no soundproof windows, you keep hearing the noise fro outside till late in the evening and early in the morning but you can get a nice rest anyway.

Great location, food and accommodation. Staff are amazing- above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Excellent location and staff. I arrived sick and manger went to pharmacy for me, asked staff to keep bringing hot water,ginger, lemon, honey. I got better in one day! Really recommend for solo travelers! Food and menu was excellent, tours arranged were spot on. Nice area for coming and going at night. Directly across from river, so relaxing plus the breeze! Decor is beautiful. But really it’s staff, from restaurant to room cleaners, each was so sweet and caring.

We had a comfortable stay, and the staff were very nice. Keep in mind, despite the other glowing reviews, this is not a luxury hotel. Rather, it’s keeping with Kampot’s backpacker roots, simple, eclectic, authentic, with Cambodian hospitality. While I found the bed very comfortable, the single thin sheet wasn’t really up to the standard of other nice hotels. At times we could hear noise from other rooms, and the room was rather small, though the high ceilings did help it feel roomier. We didn’t find the bar as lively as we expected based on other reviews. It has nice views, but quiet, without music, and you have to waive at the staff, who gather at the head of the stairs, when you want another drink. Good hotel but only if grading on a curve.

We stayed for 4 nights in the Rikitikitavi. Very nice hotel with a lovely staff! Rooms are designed with very nice details. Ours had the sleeping area upstairs with a small staircase leading up to it. Having breakfast in the open restaurant overlooking the river is fabulous too!
