Came to stay only for 4 nights for a short break. The hotel is perfectly fine for a short stay that won't break the bank. The interior is clean and cool, and the rooms are the same. Each room is self-catered and has very basic cooking facilities, so if you are genuinely looking for self-catered accommodation, this is unlikely to satisfy your requirements. The bathroom is basic, essentially a wetroom with a shower in the corner and a shower curtain across the corner - the floor gets very wet very quickly. Comfortable beds, desk, chair and hairdryer, all the essentials are fine. I believe all rooms have a balcony which is nice to sit out on an evening. Electricals. All the circuits are controlled by your key which you put into a slot by the door to turn on the sockets/AC etc. This means that you can't leave the AC on to cool the room whilst out during the day, but I guess it saves energy! Close the curtains to keep cool. Our room had no sockets near the bed which is an issue for millennial travellers but realistically, you can manage. TV was up to date and we could even log into Netflic if we wanted to. There is a decent size fridge for drinks etc. Pool. Clean and a decent size, it was great to have. Barely anybody there when we stayed, so no problem getting a sun lounger. The one thing to note is that although it advertises a 'snack bar', there isn't one. There is a fridge by reception where you can buy drinks for reasonably cheap (2 euro pop, 1 euro water, 4 euro beer), but there is nowhere to get a snack. There is a sign by the pool to say not to eat your own food, but we did and didn't seem to be an issue. Location. 3-5 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to faliraki centre - perfect. There is also a shop 2 minutes from the front door which will do soft drinks/crisps/some pastries and sandwiches for breakfast should you wish. Overall this hotel is dated and doesn't look the best, but if you are on a budget and with a group of friends/couple/solo I would reccomend - there isn't a lot to realy complain about if you aren't too fussy. Would not reccomend for families as there is little to do I would imagine.

Butterfly Studios is a great place to stay if you are looking for a clean and tidy hotel that won't break the bank. The facilities are reasonably basic but the rooms are kept clean and come with en-suite bathroom, a balcony, fridge, hair dryer and a decent-sized TV. The pool area was relaxing and always seemed to have sunbeds available. The staff were all really helpful and made us feel welcome. The hotel is located less than 10 minutes from the nearest beach, which is beautiful. The sea depth remained relatively shallow for a few meters, making it great for children. Faliraki's main ***** was about 15 minutes away, lively in the evening, and well worth a visit. If you don't fancy walking too much, there are plenty of E-Scooters scattered around to hire. Overall we had an excellent stay, and won't hesitate to return to Butterfly Studios.

I must agree with the points made by Mr 'thebates22'. Shower curtains and fancy showers are not usual in budget accommodation in Greece. Mike and Maria are lovely hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Despite the very limited cooking facilities we made scrambled eggs and omelettes from eggs given to us by Maria. Our room was cleaned every two days and we had clean towels and sheets then too. I don't change my bed linen every two days at home! This is a budget hotel in an excellent position for beaches and restaurants (provided you are happy with small, family run establishments serving traditional Greek food - if not, why are you in Greece?). We have stayed there several times, and will be going back next year.

Zweckmäßig ausgestattet, ohne Klimaanlage kein Schlaf möglich, sehr viele Moskitos. Kein TV, ist aber im Urlaub egal. Schöner Pool, aber zum Zeitpunkt nicht sehr sauber ! Zum Hafen 5 Minuten, in die Partymeile 15 Minuten Gehzeit, viel e Tavernen und Geschäfte am Weg dorthin ! Wer einen günstigen Urlaub machen will, ist hier gut aufgehoben, man kann das Hotel auch direkt buchen, und der Vermieter erspart sich mindestens 10% bei den diversen Portalbetreibern im Internet. Parkplätze genügend vorhanden, Autos über das Internet günstiger !
