Everything was perfect, it was a pleasure to be there and the hotel is designed perfectly and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The guest services was happy to help us with all our wishes and they sid it on the best side! There is plenty od thong to do in the hotel for both younger and older guests and the all inclusive package is very worthy

Had a wonderful eight nights at this hotel at the end of May. The service provided by the staff was impeccable and everywhere was so well looked after. My eldest daughter has multiple food allergies including a severe peanut one and I cannot praise executive chef Nikolas enough. We arrived, tired, twenty minutes before the buffet restaurant shut on day one. I mentioned her allergies to the lady at front of house and within two mins Nikolas had introduced himself to us all, listened to allergy details and walked us around all the food advising us. He is a gem of a human. He said they could cater specifically to her for our stay if needed, said we could always ask for him, and gave me so much reassurance. She ate so well, with specially made gyros, adjusted dishes in the al la cartes, and she could even have some of the buffet desserts. It made the holiday so much more relaxing and enjoyable! So grateful. Had a great time… enjoyed the spa, the pools, the little cinema, and the escape rooms were fun too. The hotel is well positioned should you want to explore… we made trips to Rhodes Town, local water park, Kalithea Springs and Lindos. All in all a wonderful week, would definitely return!

We have just returned from a really disappointing and underwhelming stay at Helea, the experience does not live up to the promises and look and feel of the website at all. Whilst the grounds are beautiful, everything else is distinctly average and in terms of the service and the food, actually very poor. This is not a 5 star hotel / experience so do avoid if you are used to true 5 star hotels. We had a swim up pool on our suite, we could not use this once due to how freezing the water was (not heated even out of season), the sun was on our pool for maybe 3 hours a day which wasn’t enough to give it the warmth required to swim in in. A complete waste of money. The pool area was like a bad package holiday, people reserving beds from 6am and then tacky entertainment and pool games / loud shouting on microphones through the day. To visit the buffet required a large queue, we only did it once as the food and drink choices were so poor, we therefore ate out every day (bar two meals) so incurred additional expense. It was worth it to save the holiday. There are so many rules (no irons due to H&S!), food from the bars can only be eaten in certain areas, drinks can’t be ordered from the bar but the service is so slow, you just give up and leave. The website promises such a luxury experience and complex but the reality really doesn’t live up to it sadly. If you usually stay in luxury 5 star hotels with amazing service, great food and amenities, do not stay here.

We are staying here at the moment which is a family swim up suite. The room & pool are lovely and nicely decorated but I’ve had to phone reception to get cleaners to come every day! The fridge/coffee doesn’t get stocked up unless you ask. Luckily we paid extra for a swim up suite. I went at 6am this morning to put towels down at the main pool. No sun loungers free at the beach either and we sat by the pool at the water park in the end. The buffet restaurant is a joke. The queue to get in for breakfast, lunch and dinner is horrendous. We had finished desert by the time our drinks arrived this evening! No self service for drinks here!! If you want food/drink during the day and night you must be sat at a table. Nothing is available to take away except ice creams and pool bar drinks. However - the good bits! Entertainment/mini disco at night is good. The food variety is really good. We have only tried the Greek restaurant so far for breakfast & lunch. We are booked into the Italian and Latin American in the next few days. Book A la cartes restaurants as soon as you get to the hotel via the app. Check the app for everything! We visited Symi by boat yesterday from Rhodes harbour - it was absolutely stunning. If you are a family this hotel is for you… if you want a peaceful couples break go next door to the hotel Elysa. Special mention to a few staff members… Teresa the greeter lady at the buffet restaurant who is always smiling! And Mercutio who works at the bar during the day by the main entrance next to the shop… the nicest guy we have met since we have been Here!! Also Nick the trainee on reception was very helpful. If the hotel added more staff members for the amount of people it would run a lot more smoothly, the negative reviews will start putting people off which is a Shame as this hotel has great potential. Sorry but would not return the way it is being run currently!

*Do not normally write reviews however want to warn people as this is not cheap and definitely not a 5 star hotel Disappointed with the Helea lifestyle resort, Admittedly nearly cancelled our stay for somewhere else as had read lots of negative reviews wish I did. Firstly the buffet is an absolute shambles and is a real sticking point for this hotel, The buffet is severely understaffed in every aspect aswell as having nowhere near enough tables for the amount of guests staying in the hotel. So far we have stayed for 4 nights and every night we have been taken to a table that is still dirty and not made up for the next person. If you want a drink at dinner you can forget that as staff are run off there feet trying to keep up with the demand of just clearing tables. Food offerings are limited if you attend the buffet past 8 o clock and they are not restocked. At peak times for breakfast we found the buffet to be impossible to get into with a long queue with I would say over 100 people in. On the subject of dining if you come on holiday to experience a la carte fine dining this is not the place for you as there is never availability even a week in advance even though these restaurants are never full when we walked past. I had emailed the hotel before our holiday to book a la carte but they refused. If you eat in a la carte and have something that is additional to the all inclusive package beware you must pay cash card is not accepted !!!!! According to the signs you are not allowed to reserve sunbeds however this is completely false, We found that by 7:15 every sunbed around the pool had been reserved including by guests from the hotel next door, Not sure how this works out. We spent most our time during the day on the beach which was full by 8:30 am aswell with people not actually arriving to the reserved beds until sometimes mid day. The hotel next door beach was much nicer however you were not allowed to sit there even though there guests were allowed to sit on Heleas. There is only 1 main pool which is stupidly overcrowded and 1 what I would describe as feature pool with only 8 beds around, Impossible to get one of these beds unless you put towels there the night before. To my surprise the hotel advertised 11 pools definitely not the case as they seem to be including the pools attached to the swim up rooms !!! Our room was one positive it was modern clean and well appointed however beware if you have a land facing room you are right infront of the entertainment which is very loud up until 11pm. The architecture and interior design of the hotel is nice however cheap in places, often very long queues at reception and bar areas, Often in the bars they only offer table service however this is not good when there is only 1 waiter for circa 35 tables. On the positive side everything seems to be included drinks wise in the all inclusive package we never had an issue getting what we asked for. Certain staff members stuck out to us one being E

Hotel beautifully appointed, very stylish and clean. Food a very high standard but we were only allowed to book 1 restaurant for dinner in 4 nights. Hotel far, far too busy, massive queues for breakfast and absolutely no beds available by the pool, people arguing and fighting for sunbeds. Massively understaffed. Service incredibly slow and staff attitude in general not great. It is a shame because it has the potential to be an amazing hotel.

Great hotel. Clean and nice rooms. The restaurants keeps a good standard. The system in the main buffet is a bit slow. It feels a bit unorganized. You need to speak up and get all your drinks straight away because you might not get another chance. I think it should be easier to book the other restaurants. And you can absolutely fill them with more people, felt half empty. The pools are clean and in great standard. Same goes for the beach, clean and nice. We really enjoyed the ice cream at the hub. And the bar down at the beach. All and all we had a great stay.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at. This was the second season since they opened, so very new, We were told that the original hotel on here was the first hotel built in Rhodes. We were welcomed with drinks upon arrival and a porter who then took us and our baggage to our room. Our room was lovely and clean. We had beach towels supplied, robes, slippers and fresh towels. A bottle of Prosecco awaited in the room as a welcome, fruit, walnuts in honey and some little treats which the kids demolished. Our fridge was stocked with water, juice and fizzy drinks and they restocked this everyday, all included. Fresh towels were given everyday by room service and the room cleaned and beds made. The safe was free of charge to use. Our room was in a little block that had its own pool to share, it was brilliant. Actually much better than the swim up rooms in my opinion. And we had two sun loungers to relax on. The hotel was clean and tidy and well maintained by staff. The restaurant were lovely. Bit of a queue to get into the restaurant towards the end of our stay, but the wait was never more than 5 minutes. Great selection of food, so much choice for all. A bottle of water was given with every meal and drinks order taken. Restaurant was clean and well maintained. Food topped up regularly. There are also 3 other à la cart restaurants you could book during your stay for lunch or dinner. These are Italian, Greek and Latin American. They are all lovely. Or you can book to have sushi as one of these options instead. There were other options for lunch or snacks which were gyros, crepe's and ice cream, burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches and fries. You sat down for these so it was a much more personal experience and it kept the pool areas rubbish free. There were 3 different bars for drinks. All drinks were included in the all inclusive package. So much choice as well. The hotel also has two theatres/cinemas. And two escape rooms also all included which can be booked and were brilliant fun. Entertainment during the day as well as the evening. My kids loved the superhero show around the pool. There was also a spa and a gym. There was the main pool, a kids pool and another area with 5 small separate pools and a water park for the kids with slides. Ringed floats could be used around the pool but not the bigger floats as the number of people in the pool increased and the danger of not spotting any kids if they got stuck under them. Sun loungers got increasingly busy towards the end and like every hotel, guests popped their towels down very early on in the morning and disappeared for some time before returning. But I suppose this would be very hard for the hotel to monitor. Same along the beach area. Beach was rocky. Beautiful blue waters and again litter free. Lifeguard on here also. The hotel looks as good as it does in the pictures and the food is amazing. The issue is that the fine print of the all inclusive package states you can only make a reservation in each of the 3 a la carte restaurants once on your trip. If you are there for a week and you have 20 meals at the hotel that essentially means you will be eating 18 of them at the buffet. Even though the food does change daily at the buffet this does get very repetitive. The a la carte restaurants are very nice but they only serve beer and wine and no cocktails. The other things that mean I am giving this a 3 star review are the pools are not heated, even the kids pool. The water therefore is around 24 degrees which feels pretty cold even when the weather is in the 30 degree or higher range. Smaller children tended to start shivering after 20 mins in the pool. Other than this the hotel is very nice and the rooms are modern. I wish I would have known the details above before booking.
