Очень дружелюбный персонал. Красивый широкий пляж без людей , уютная комната. Круто слышно шум волн. Завтрак понравился. Из минусов - таракан в номере, бассейн мутноват.

This has been one of my favorite experiences of travel I’ve ever had (and I’ve traveled a lot)! The rooms, grounds, food, pool and beach are so beautiful and relaxing. But mostly it has been the staff that has made our experience what it has been, we even decided to stay a couple days longer. Gimbal, Nimesh, Vihaja and others were so kind and friendly and went well out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. They learned my son’s favorite foods and accommodated for all meals, they made him a beautiful cake and decorated our room for his birthday, showed us how to make our favorite dishes, and overall have made us feel more welcomed than I could have imagined. I would come back to sri lanka just to stay here again.

The setting of this resort is simply stunning. Set on miles of beaches with no other resorts in sight. There are crashing waves that are great fun and a nice pool. The service was very attentive and they do all they can to make your stay comfortable Food was great both at breakfast and dinner

Loved the location, it felt incredibly remote with no other property along the entire ***** of beach. Wide sandy, clean beach - the waves are very powerful (no life guards), the sunsets were divine. Very few people minus the stray beach dogs The rooms were large with a view onto the beach and pool. Comfortable, spacious, ideal for a small family. The staff were all friendly, around but never intrusive. Whilst the spa was simple and no frills I had an amazing massage. I would happily head back. Prices are in USD making the restaurant feel more expensive than it could have been.

A wonderful ocean view sustainable small hotel Every thing was at your best expectation The rooms. The pool. The food. And mostly the people they were super friendly, supportive, helpful and accommodating The near by beach was magnificent. Our second visit to Lankavatara SPA Hotel surpassed our expectations! Returning after a year, we were greeted by the same serene beach, the warmth and hospitality of the Sri Lankan staff, and notably improved culinary experiences courtesy of the kitchen team. Our room nr. 8 (Front ocean view) was as clean and well-maintained as a year ago. Anousha – the best masseuses in the world – still works at the SPA, and the overall vibe of the hotel is as relaxed but attentive as before. It seems the kitchen staff has changed, so the consistency, flavours and quality of food of the main restaurant have massively improved. Unfortunately, the beach did suffer some erosion during the heavy rains of the 2023 winter months, causing parts of it to collapse and wash away. This is a regrettable occurrence, not only for the natural beauty of the area but also for the local fishermen who now face increased challenges during their daily fishing trips. However, despite these changes, the wilderness experience remains unspoiled—the empty golden beach stretches endlessly. We loved it here, and highly recommend the hotel to other travellers.

Lankavatara is situated about 30 minutes from Tangalle, in Kalametiya. The resort is beautiful and the rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. The meals were delicious too. It really is the best looking hotel in the area! There is beach access from the hotel but it was advised not to swim by the staff, which was slightly disappointing. But overall a good place to relax.

I was only able to stay at this gorgeous hotel for one night but everything from the informative and helpful checkin to the restaurant’s delicious food was top notch! I got a massage twice at their lovely little spa (also reasonably priced) and ate two dinner meals and breakfast at their restaurant- it was all of excellent quality, tasty and fresh. The staff was so kind and helpful - assisting me in my transportation needs beyond the area. The rooms are super comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Sure it’s a bit more but you get what you pay for! Great choice on a beautiful out of the way beach in Sri!!
