Espectacular!!!

Hotel is in a super location just outside Kalamata on the hillside. Very convenient for the airport, a 20 minute drive away. Large rooms with sea views. Large comfortable bed and plenty of storage. Bathroom had a good shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was only ok. The buffet, whilst plenty of choice, was a little dull and the cooked eggs etc looked well past their best come 10.00am. Very good coffee though. Dinner was good, attentive service and quick delivery of food on the sea facing terrace. A nice pool but very little shade to make it appealing to use in the afternoons as the terrace is west facing. Helpful staff especially on a late evening check in. It isn't immediately obvious where you need to go on arrival in the dark. We initially got out of our car at the lower level and blundered round for a few minutes before realising reception must be elsewhere: it was, you have to drive up to the upper level. The design of the hotel is stark minimalist. It needs the planting to grow a bit more to soften the edges and provide more shade. Good choice though for late fight arrivals and/or early departures and in a quiet location.

Best inclusive breakfast I have ever seen, it was reason enough to go back. Very clean and spacious rooms. Views are phenomenal. Definitely need a car due to hills, but really close to Kalamata town. We loved the pool area and all the staff was very friendly. King size beds were amazing and we had good blackout shades for those long summer nights.

May 2023 we stayedfor three nights at the hotel and enjoyed every moment . The room was big with a veranda overlooking the sea. The location is superb in the suburb of Calamata easy access for everywhere. Superb breakfast helpfull staff available parking. In short a lovely hotel well recommended

Having just returned from a holiday in Kalamata, I wanted to review the hotel I stayed in. This was a holiday for a solo traveller and hopes to provide an objective but informative view. The hotel is outside of Kalamata, south east of the Town. A taxi from the airport to the hotel is about 25-30 euros. You can book in advance but this is the cheapest price I found. There are no Ubers / Bolts etc. The hotel itself is set in the side of the mountain (I guess it’s a mountain) and is arranged over a number of floors. The drive up the hotel is steep, so be sure you know your car can make it up (it will it’s just a bit disconcerting!). The reception is on the 4th floor, although this could easily be the ground floor. It is nicely decorated, clean, minimal and stylish. There are 36 rooms in the hotel and during my stay, 32 of them were in use. Not that I could tell! Due to the way the hotel is arranged, it never felt busy. This was also due to the time of year where, I understand, guests are more inclined to explore the local surroundings that lay by the pool (due to the slightly (!) cooler weather). The few days I stayed, it was between 27 and 30 degrees in late September which I found was a perfect temperature. During high season, the guests will stay more at the hotel so will be busier but I get the impression, it will never be overcrowded. The room itself was nice, a good size, clean and well laid out. There were plenty of plug sockets (a real hotel bugbear) and looked out over the sea. My room was 508 and one level up from the reception. It had a nice balcony which overlooked the pool. This was the lowest level of room and some of the others looked amazing. I would say that the rooms are quite close together at times, so you are likely to hear conversations from other guests and the odd snoring. It didn’t put me off or disturb but took a little getting used to. The facilities at the hotel are good, with an exceptional gym. It is one of the best I have used when travelling or on holiday. It has every bit of kit you could think of, bands, dumbbells, TRX, squat rack, bench etc etc. There is plenty of space to stretch with a treadmill & cross trainer for some cardio action. There is even a sofa to rest on should you need between sets! The food is good and breakfast was included. This was a buffet with variety across breads, cookies / sweets, fruit and hot choices. The coffee was excellent (shout out to the staff, thank you!). In terms of other food, there is a menu for during the day and a menu for room service at night. The food was good although there isn’t a restaurant per se but you can order food for by the pool whenever you like. I did enjoyed a few room service meals on the balcony. I did get some provisions from the supermarket in Kalamata (which is cheap) and there’s a Lidl 5 mins drive down the road should you need. Getting into Kalamata is about a 45 mins walk going down by the beach, or slightly less if you head in along the
