We stayed two nights in a deluxe suite and loved it. Spacious, clean and very quaint. Our room was of a local design and most comfortable.The property is still under construction for additional rooms so the pool area experiences noisy and activity due to this. The staff were very kind, helpful and accommodating. We felt well cared for and most welcomed. Recommend it for those looking to try a local experience with an upscale property.

We had an great stay at hotel grand khalifa..The front staff Mr.Mohamad was very kind and very supportive..Food is very tasty.This hotel is located at very near to the lake and hotel is good at sight seeing......

Very good stay at the Grand Khalifa hotel, the staff is very friendly, the suite was very clean and comfortable, all the facilities available, good breakfast and everything was good in general! We were very well received and found this place very relaxing and slept super well the bedding was good. Many thanks

We stayed for two nights in early April, after arriving at 8am we’re were welcomed by the manager who allowed us to check in early. This hotel is without a doubt beautiful! It has modern rooms in the Rajasthani theme. We had a superior room and it was exactly as depicted in the hotel photos. The bed was the ne of the most comfortable hotel beds we’ve had on our RTW trip. The outdoor spaces provide shade and shelter form the afternoon sun and heat and the pool is a good size to cool off at days end. From the rooftop bar and restaurant there are direct and stunning views of the fort which tempt the holidaymaker to venture up. All in all this hotel is excellent value and is one I’ll stay in again when we return

What a stunning hotel. Truly beautiful and exceeded our expectations on aesthetics and amenities (pool, air conditioning, breakfast included, sitting room, WiFi, in room refrigerator, water). The primary challenge we had was hospitality. We weren't exactly welcomed when we walked in, and it took some effort to determine how we checked in and with whom. Once we got that sorted, we were off to take a hot shower, only to learn that the hot water wasn't turned on in one of the rooms we had booked. While not a show stopper, these two points of friction upon check in weren't ideal after a long travel day. And there was a bit of construction going on next door. That said, this place is really lovely, the rooms are comfortable, the amenities are there - it just requires a bit more patience to negotiate, so plan accordingly.

Big rooms .. very spacious. Quick check in. Good location (walking distance to fort thru narrow lanes). Good view from roof top and. Has street parking for cars. That's it. The hotel is not managed by professionals. Seems local guys are managing this without any training in hotel management. Dont get me wrong the staff was courteous but they had no idea about anything if you ask them to do. The breakfast was bad. They dont start the kitchen till 8:45 AM. SO No Tea, Nothing to eat in the morning. Even when they start cooking, they have no expertise to make even a simple masala omlette. The bathrooms have poor lighting and no provision to add any additional light so very difficult to shave. All day, you will find group of 10-15 people sitting near the main gate of the hotel. Feels awkward if you pass with your family.

March 2024 The Hotel Grand Khalifa exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, airy and very spacious. The bathroom was clean and spacious too. Nice hot shower after our long drive from Udaipur! The welcome drink was a nice touch. We had dinner and breakfast which were made to our likings. Mr Amardeen chatted with us over dinner and his laal maas was amazing! Must try if you are going in Jaiselmer! The manager at breakfast, Mr. Khan, was very friendly, gave us an overview of the city, hotel history. We were able to store our luggage while went to the Dunes. We will definitely be staying here when we come to Jaisalmer again. Family of 3 travelling from Canada

Fabulous hotel. However, the lovely staff who were so kind don’t speak English. Such a shame as they were willing to do anything for me. Maybe give them basic English I found the male receptionist very unpleasant and not welcoming at all! Also, there needs to be more attention paid about the litter on the floors particularly at the breakfast outside area
