푸밀리오 마운틴 & 오션 호텔(Pumilio Mountain & Ocean Hotel)

Loved that it was up and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Jaco. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh, the pool was clean, cool and refreshing! Especially loved taking a dip in the evening to cool down with the moon and stars above. Also, we were there over my daughters birthday, they suggested a great beach restaurant and made reservations for us at sunset and while we were at dinner, they put balloons in our room and got her a cake!

All good except for the loud family with screaming kids in the room next door. Placing your customers in appropriate rooms is important.

Nice casual hotel. Pool area was nice. Good breakfast. Not in the middle of town. Ten mins to Jaco Beach. Suite offers a nice kitchen.

We got a family suite with access to the pool through a balcony. Specious and good for 5 people. The room was very clean. there is a kitchenet at the balcony area, which was very unclean: garbage was left on the counter, the kitchenware was dusty, and there was a dead bug lying legs up.. breakfast was nice. We came during the holiday season so the hotel may have been busier than usual (?), but we did not get hot water in both nights we stayed. On the second night we asked about hot water, and they said they'd take care of it, and we got hot water after about 2 hours (shrug). The thing that left us feeling most uncomfortable was the ordering takeaway food experience. We were specifically told by the guy that checked us in, that if we want to order takeaway food from one of the businesses around, it would only cost us an extra $6 on top of the regular price. We ordered a pizza that cost $20 online, and thought we will pay about $26 for ordering in. At checkout the young lady at the front desk asked for $68 for the pizza... it was going to be the most expensive pizza we had in our entire lives. We don't usually argue for pricing, but this time we just felt conned, and after a short exchange we ended up paying $26. she also tried to charge twice for things already paid for.. The hotel is located far from the Jaco beaches, but there is a very fun 10 waterfall hike experience that you can get online (you can't go there by yourself, it's a private area)

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Property is secluded but at the same time is safe and secure. Hotel has an outdoor spa where they provide different massages. Service provided was overall good.

Location was very close to downtown Jaco, like 5min by car. Hotel staff friendly and help with planning activities and dining. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast provided. We also ordered dinner through room service and that was amazing. Would definitely stay again!

Terrific staff. Enjoyed the pool side suite. Having breakfast in the middle of the jungle was great. Booked a couples massage, what a wonderful experience.

Beautiful hotel - very quaint and not what we were expecting driving there . The jacuzzi was lovely but a shame the water was tepid so not so appealing.. lovely stay and staff very welcoming - would definitely recommend and visit again

The hotel is a hidden gem. Our stay was amazing. Very quite property. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast is great.
