We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Istinye Park in early November. It was a completely wonderful experience, without exception. We were warmly greeted upon arrival, and check in was smooth. Our king balcony room was well appointed and the windows and balcony provided an amazing direct view of the Gulf of Izmir and the city. We were fortunate to arrive one hour before the fireworks to celebrate the Centennial of the Turkish Republic. We were able to enjoy the fireworks from our balcony. The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to Izmir city, and its suburbs, by foot, car, tram, metro and rail. Breakfast was very high quality and included a wide variety of fresh Turkish and western choices. Maja in Guest Relations was wonderfully friendly and helpful, and she made a dinner reservation for us at our desired restaurant on the Izmir waterfront. Thank you to Maja, and to all the professional staff at the Hyatt Regency Istinye Park!

Warnung! Das ist kein Hotel! Falsche Abrechnung, Schlechte Zimmer, Schlechtes Frühstück, kein Parkplatz Die Unterkunft ist kein Hotel, sondern eine Absteige. Vielleicht ist es auch eine Jugendherberge, aber auf jeden Fall gibt es keine Zimmerreinigung während des Aufenthaltes. Der Müll wird nicht geleert, die Betten werden nicht gemacht, die Handtücher werden nicht gewechselt, das Klopapier wird nicht aufgefüllt. Pro Zimmer gibt es etwa 3 Handtücher, egal wie viele Personen dort übernachten. Unser Zimmer hatte keine Duschtüre, sodass nach dem Duschen das ganze Bad unter Wasser stand. Die Bäder sind durch einen Schacht miteinander verbunden, sodass es extrem aus dem Bad stinkt. Tipp: den Klodeckel + Badezimmertür immer geschlossen halten. Das Bad hat jedoch keine Lüftung, also stinkt es dann noch stärker beim erneuten eintreten. Die Zimmer werden nach Gästewechsel nicht kontrolliert - das hat uns der Besitzer selber mitgeteilt. Die Mitarbeiter sind höflich und nett. Sie geben jedoch versprechen, die sie dann nicht halten. Generell ist das Hotelmanagement sehr schlecht. In der ersten Nacht hatten wir zuerst ein verschmutztes Zimmer, das wurde ausgewechselt. Danach hatten wir ein Zimmer, in dem man aufgrund der Matratze und des Bettbezugs nicht schlafen konnte. Auf unsere Beschwerde hin wurde uns explizit ein spezielles Zimmer für den weiteren Aufenthalt versprochen. Am nächsten Morgen gaben wir den Schlüssel also ab, am Abend teilte man uns mit, dass man das Zimmer jemand anderem gegeben hat. Wenn wir darauf bestehen würden, würde das Zimmer wieder geräumt werden. Wir würden so etwas nie verlangen. Später hat sich herausgestellt, dass wir die anderen Gäste sogar kennen. Das Frühstück ist eine Katastrophe. Es wird am Abend vorher schon kantinenmässig vorbereitet und vertrocknet ganz selbstverständlich an der Luft. Leider wird das Frühstück auch nicht abgedeckt, sodass jeder alle gedeckten Teller berühren kann. Die Fliegen nisten sich auch darauf ein. Nicht Coronakonform, auch nicht hygienisch. Es wurde zu viel Geld abgebucht und wir erhielten keine richtige Rechnung. Im Übrigen habe ich zuerst über booking reserviert. Danach wollte ich die Tage anpassen und das hat leider über booking nicht funktioniert. Nachdem wir Kontakt mit dem Hotel aufgenommen haben, haben sie uns versichert, dass sie uns die Zimmer freihalten (was sie zum Glück auch gemacht haben). Darüber hinaus meinte die Dame (Mutter des Besitzers), dass sie uns einen günstigeren Preis als booking machen wird. Am Ende war es leider nicht so und wir mussten 80-100€ mehr zahlen. Die Rechnung kann ich euch bei Anfrage gerne zeigen. Vorsicht! Es gibt keinen Parkplatz! Ich habe das Hotel deshalb ausgewählt, weil es einen Parkplatz haben soll. Es stellte sich heraus, dass es lediglich 3 Parkplätze gibt. Leider konnten unsere Gäste daher nicht wie versprochen ihre Fahrzeuge in einem sicheren Bereich parken und mussten stattdessen auf der Straße parken. Außerdem wird das Rauchen in den

호텔의 객실은 깨끗하고 현대적이며 고품질의 시설이 매우 좋으며 아침 식사는 다양성이 매우 크지 않지만 너무 맛있었습니다. 이것은 분명히이 피드백을 만들도록 저를 이끌었던 것이 아닙니다. 매우 뛰어난 팀은 팀이었습니다. 나는 자연스러운 개인주의 수준으로이 그룹을 진심으로 환영하는 팀을 본 적이 없습니다. 접수 원 Dedma에서 시작했습니다. 체크인을 해줘서 너무 전문적이었고, 그 다음 컨시어지 차. 손님의 만족과 쾌적한 숙박을 보장하기 위해 모든 것을 가능하게 한 데니스 데 페리 (Deniz Deperli)와 최고의 태도와 미소로 아침 식사 중에 둘러보고 있던 동료 게지아 (Gezia)는 손님의 만족을 확인했습니다. 긴장해서 미안하지만, 겸손한 주방장 한 분이 잊을 수 없는 접근방법도 있어서, 그녀가 즐겁게 준비한 그릴한 할로미 치즈를 요청했고, 2일 후 다른 모든 손님들을 쫓아내면서 저를 알아차리고 저와 함께 묻습니다. 그녀는 나에게 물었고 ”선생님, 어쩌면 당신은 구운 할리미를 원할 것입니다. 그뿐만 아니라 그녀는 내가 ”네, 감사합니다”라고 말할 때 가장 자연스럽고 진정한 미소를 가지고 있습니다. 이것은 내 인생에서 가장 좋아하는 호텔 숙박 경험입니다. 메리어트 이즈미르의 잘 운영을 잘 하셨고 팀에 이렇게 열정적인 사람들을 모으셨으면 축하드립니다.

I was at the hotel for a week. I wasn’t a fan and remain unhappy with the hotel and its staff. The cleaning staff were amazing and kept the room nice. The reception staff were grumpy and unwilling to help when things went wrong during my stay. I would never recommend this hotel and would suggest you avoid it completely. The area of izmir is also very strange, as I’ve been to Istanbul, marmaris and Antalya where people are friendlier and services are better! So the hotel: * windows open from bottom to top, very dangerous and can easily fall out and die! * cockroach in bathroom, they changed my room once but I found more and started going to the toilet downstairs! * hotel only gives 1 small 500ml bottle of water for free each day, so you have to go buy your own water locally! I’ve been to a lot of countries where they give you free complimentary water with a larger limit or at times no limit to how much water you want, so this shocked me at the hotel! * tv did not work and the staff were not willing to help when I called downstairs. * lift is tiny and only for 2 people at a time so expect to wait a while to go upstairs to your room! * breakfast is very basic, tasteless, bland and I was unwell/vomited once! Anyway, that’s my review, and I’ve been as honest as I can. I won’t be returning to the hotel or to izmir, there are scammers everywhere and the taxi drivers are rude and aggressive! I managed to see some sights locally but nothing to sing and dance about.
