We spent 5 days at this historical hotel. However, despite the impressive interiors and atmosphere, the overall stay was disappointing. Let me share why, based on my feedback and facts: * The check-in took hours, with no welcome drinks, Wi-Fi, and excuses. I still don't know the reason behind the delay, as the hotel employees couldn't explain it due to their lack of English proficiency. * The pool was closed for 2/5 days, a significant disappointment for me since it was a primary reason for booking this hotel, especially considering the unfavorable weather for beach outings. Additionally, the terrace was under renovation for 2 days, causing noise disturbances in the room. I shared my concerns with the reception staff, mentioning that such inconveniences during the peak season in August were quite overwhelming. Regrettably, they took no action to address our discomfort or compensate it. * The breakfast offerings were very limited, featuring canned orange juice despite the abundance of fresh oranges in Turkey. The selection of hot dishes was minimal and repeated each day during our 5-day stay. The water provided had an unpleasant odor and taste, making it undrinkable. To make matters worse, I discovered moldy bread, which I promptly brought to the attention of the chef. Surprisingly, he only discarded one piece, despite the obvious damage to the entire basket. * I also cannot recommend the hotel restaurant for dinner. The food was overpriced and lacked balance in terms of taste. Overall, the impression I got was that this hotel is suitable only for a photoshoot, not for an extended stay. Expect apathy from the hotel staff, subpar food, and inadequate service.
