Interesting Location and Hotel Pros: large room, wonderful restaurant, close to many attractions you will want to see, restaurant staff fabulous, king size platform bed, tea and coffee in room, bottled water provided every day, large windows, bathroom smallish bit adequate, plenty of hot water, safe, two cushioned chairs, wardrobe very adequate, easy check in and check out. WiFi was very good, and if your connection becomes weak, just use a different room number and connect.. This might happen in the evening. Cons: Hotel is on a pedestrian street - no motor traffic. Because of the street, your transportation to the hotel will not drop you off in the front of the hotel. My driver from the airport could not find it and parked the taxi and searched on foot. He was successful, but t took a while. The street has a plethora of restaurants, but I ate mainly at the hotel's restaurant or near an attraction if I was out for the day. Once I became familiar with the area, it was easy to find my way back. Google maps worked great for me - since I like to walk the neighborhoods - there was never a problem. The call to prayer can be annoying since you are close to several mosques (which happens several times a day),but it part of the culture and I embraced it.

Highly recommended Best historical views of ancient İstanbul. Right next to the hotel, you can see Hagia Sophia from the room which was spacious and very clean. Stuff was also very kind and helpful, organized our transfer. We loved to stay at here and will be back again

Magnificent location. It is right in the heart of Istanbul’s historic Sultan Ahmet Square. The hotel has the panoramic view of the most iconic views of the old city. The room has the view of Hagia Sophia which is just 100 meters away. The room was spacious , designed with wood elements and very clean. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The tram is just 1 min away so very convenient for transportation. This is the address if you are looking for a boutique hotel with great location and beautiful rooms, I definitely recommend it.

Great place to stay! So close to the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, tram stops a very short distance away, and lots of places to eat in the lanes around the accommodation. We ate in the Fuego restaurant a few times and the guys there were lovely, with great food. We had room 501 which has an amazing view - would highly recommend.

We stayed in room 501 which was spacious and clean. Great bathroom and amazing views. The staff (especially Emir and Sattar) were really helpful and friendly. They helped with various information when needed , without being overly intrusive, and they organised a taxi shuttle for us to the airport. We can not wait to return !

An excellent small hotel in a pedestrian area close to all the attractions in Sultanahmet. We had 4 nights in 502 and after a trip away from Istanbul we had 1 night in 501. Both rooms have a view of Hagia Sophia and 501 also has a view of the Blue Mosque - 502 is a one bedroom apartment and 501 is a studio. Both have good bathrooms. You will hear the calls to prayer but this is not unusual anywhere we went in Turkiye. We had 2 trips each way to the airport. Traffic is chaotic, except at 4am. Our first drop off we were met by the reception person at the nearest street but the second dropped us off 4 minutes away. Luckily, we knew the area after our first visit. Both pick ups the driver rang reception and they escorted us to the car and helped with the bags. It is an easy walk to Sultanahmet tram stop. Many hotels are in this area and many will have similar access problems due to narrow streets and pedestrian areas. I would definitely stay in Fuego Design Suites again if I go back to Istanbul.
