The most important comment to make about this hotel is what an achievement it is. Isolated completely from roads and inaccessible by car is the most divine food, wine, service and incredible view and it is exceptional. Not even mentioning the experience of staying in a lighthouse! Perhaps for us wimpy English, the trek/climb to reach it was a little daunting - and I think it should be made clear this is not for visitors with any physical impairment as there is a very steep climb together with a jarring quad-bike trip to get or leave the hotel .. but then again, there is also nothing like it.  Mario and Paula were accommodating on every single occasion we asked and, as we were unaware we couldn’t reach the hotel by taxi/hire car, were more than happy to fetch and deliver us to where the road ended - but we did feel horribly guilty knowing that they were also on service at breakfast so I’m afraid we did feel restricted as to how late we could stay out. (Our own restrictions I must add- not theirs!) The restaurant service was equally as accommodating, an exciting and extravagant menu accompanied by delicious wines. Did I mention the view…. ! Beautiful, stunning, exemplary but please understand location. (Boat taxi to a nearby beach is €80 EACH way!!)

A place of quietness and tranquillity, this is a real lighthouse, properly working as such, and adapted to a small family-run boutique hotel. It also features a restaurant offering good homemade cuisine. Views are stunning, particularly during the golden hour, when you may enjoy a wonderful aperitivo on the terrace. The lighthouse is isolated, tenants will bring you there with their Jeep or quad and you will have to leave your car in a parking, which is approx. 1,5km away. Sea bathing is for quite expert swimmers: down the stairs by approx. 100 steps, into a small rocky caletta with wonderful blue, turquoise / green crystal waters. Faro Fenaio is the perfect spot for a quiet, restful and relaxing break in isolation with good readings and time for contemplation. Perfect also for hikers, as the hills around the lighthouse offer tracks with breathtaking views in the macchia mediterranea. Congratulations to Paola, Mario and Simone (and their staff) to have been so brave to create and run a place of such uniquenesses! Kudos!!!

Soggiorno paradisiaco! Esaudito un sogno che avevo sin da bambina, dormire in un Faro. Luogo fuori dal mondo regna silenzio pace e tranquillità, unici rumori quello del vento ed il mare che si infrange sugli scogli. Luogo magico. Panorami mozzafiato, tramonti mai visti e cieli con stelle di una luminosità che difficilmente si vedono. Il faro poi è di una raffinatezza ed eleganza spettacolari. Ristrutturato con maestria. Abbiamo soggiornato nella suite Ercole a Levante con Una terrazza stupenda ad uso esclusivo . Paola Mario e i loro ragazzi sono degli eccellenti gestori. Un plauso particolare allo chef che ha deliziato il nostro palato in modo eccezionale. Complimenti a tutti! torneremo sicuramente

Il faro di Punta Fenaio e’ un Sogno nella Natura. Un luogo magico, restaurato da mani sapienti con raffinata semplicità. Arrivi lì e il panorama ti lascia senza fiato. Sei in un giardino di erbe spontanee che ti avvolgono con i loro colori e emanano i loro meravigliosi profumi. Il rumore del mare ti culla dolcemente e non si possono raccontare le emozioni indimenticabili del tramonto, del cielo” trapunto di stelle” illuminato dalla luce del faro. Paola e Simone ti accolgono con calore e spontaneità. Sono sempre a tua disposizione senza essere mai invadenti. La cucina è fantastica. Non ha ancora le stelle perché i critici Michelin non ci sono ancora arrivati! Grazie Paola e Simone! Sono stati dei giorni fantastici e per Pippo un meraviglioso 70esimo compleanno. Paola ci ha accolti in maniera straordinaria, la location lascia senza parole la colonna sonora e’ fantastica: una overdose di mare. Il timing segue la natura: colazione vista mare manco a dirlo, giornata in totale relax e poi un aperitivo mozza fiato da vivere abbracciati dal profumo del mare. Cena super con un chef che ti coccola come se fossi a casa. Una esperienza indimenticabile

bellissimo posto se si vuole staccare da tutto e stare in completo relax. Ristorante per la cena e colazione ottima. La suite con terrazza privata e' molto grande e' dotata di tutto il necessario ,con una vista spettacolare. Personale gentile e sempre a disposizione.
