El Milagro Beach Hotel and Marina

El Milagro is the perfect spot for a vacation! Ours was with 13 family members - but we will go again as just a couple. My husband and I stayed in the Beach Cabana facing the water with a covered patio. We had 1 bedroom, 1 bath, a kitchen and a/c! Eric, the owner, and Jaime, the manager, accommodated our families' every need. We arranged for our evening meals to be prepared for us every night! The food and service were excellent (we provided the menu and the food for most entrees.) Breakfast was eaten in our room and we went out to lunch most days. This is a wonderful place to stay and we can't wait to go back!

Cannot say enough about this hidden gem. In fact I’d like to keep it a secret so it is available for when we return! Lol Authentic Mexican flair with well stocked kitchens in the room, small quaint beach with plenty of sun & shade options as well as a perfectly clean dipping pool. What more could you need?! Actually there is a little convenience store for something you may need on site too. Eric the owner welcomed us & his team kept us & the grounds well taken care of. Hats off to this wonderful place 🎩 5 ⭐️ in my opinion for the quintessential Mexican experience. Only improvement needed is a bigger bed in the room ( use a king at home & hard to adjust to a double ) but I knew this going in & still booked the room. LOVE LOVE LOVE this paradise stay Thank you Eric 🙏❤️

Where do I start: We have been coming to Isla Mujeres for a few years now & stumbled across this place online. Have been to The Mia Reef a all inclusive, some other hotels and even rented houses in La Gloria area. Needless to say we will never stay anywhere else when we come back. Eric the owner was just as wonderful as all the reviews say. He & his staff made sure we had everything we needed including our request for extra pillows. Our room was very comfortable with our own patio out front and a deck patio as well that faced the road. It was a little loud but enjoyed people watching in the late afternoon & evening. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. It was wonderful because I think there were only 2 other couples there that occupied other rooms and maybe 2 boats that were docked there. My husband, daughter and I basically had the whole place to ourselves. Every morning we sat out by the dock with our coffee and our ipads. Then went about our day which usually ended with sitting at the beach enjoying the view. The first week my daughter and I were eaten alive by what we thought were mosquitos but I was told after were probably noseums. We looked like live pin cushions. We later realized that they came out later in the afternoon or early evening so we tried to stay indoors if we could in the evening. One afternoon we went to our regular spot by the beach and they had put up a hammock for us to use. There were others around but this one was now right where we sat. My husband quite enjoyed that. We had access to bikes, paddle boards and kayaks which was great. There were tables and chairs in the water which was perfect on those very hot days. My daughter really enjoyed herself although she was only there for less than a week. We stayed in Villa 2 and after she left were going to move to Villa 1 as my husband and I didn't need the extra bed anymore. The day we were supposed to move rooms Eric told us that we could move to the Penthouse at no extra cost since no one was staying there anyways. Well we jumped on that right away. Haha. The view was amazing as it faced the back of the property and the water. Best of all, the front was screened in. No more bites if I stayed outdoors at night time. Woo Hoo. There was also a deck in the back as well as a rooftop deck. It was absolutely amazing. The Penthouse was huge. Full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and everything you needed. We are so grateful and appreciative for Eric's kind offer. One night we were invited to join Eric and his staff for dinner. They made a roast pork, veggies, mashed potatoes and gravy. It was wonderful. A few days later we made Eric a filipino dinner. We couldn't buy all the ingredients that I needed but he said he enjoyed it very much. That's all that counts. There was a Chedraui which is kind of like a Walmart that was only a 15 minute walk from El Milagro so made it easy for us to get what we needed. Plus with all that we ate and drank there, the walk was good

I’m so happy that I chose El Milagro - it was perfect!! . I loved it so much. As a solo female traveller I felt so safe while on Isla and I loved the community at El Milagro. The community dinner is a must - do not miss it. Eric and his team are wonderful. So kind and welcoming. I truly felt I was right at home in this beautiful resort. I loved the paddle boards too. I will be booking again as this was my first trip to isla. I have already been telling friends about this special resort - it is everything that I could want. I could walk easily each morning to the centre and playa Norte without having to stay in the busy area. It was peaceful and the resort itself is so authentic. So much attention to every detail in the rooms and in the whole resort!!

Spent 9 days here & it was a great experience! Loved how beautiful and authentically decorated the place is, which makes it stand out from just a generic hotel. It also is out of town so more private but you can easily get to town with your golf cart rental in 5 min. The staff and owner are so friendly and helpful, and great to meet some very interesting people who are passing through. One could easily spend the whole time there if you wanted! as it has almost all the amenities you need. I stayed with a friend and we each had our own kitchen as well as a private porch & living area looking out to the Caribbean, Highly recommend this special place!
