Beautiful glamping spot right on the river. Food was delicious and plentiful, all served with a genuine warmth and friendliness. Simply beautiful location

They guys are amazing!!! The property is fantastic. I came with my Dad and they took great care of us. Shout out to Lucy and Debbie in the dinning room. (They really made it feel like you are hanging out with friends) And Joanne for an amazing massage. Nuno took great care of our room. Couldn’t ask for anything more. I will miss them.

While my group stayed at Intrepids during a business trip, the lodge provided everything we needed to be comfortable and well-fed during our long workdays. The tents were cozy and clean. The food was tasty, and the desserts were consistently picture-perfect. Thank you to the staff for working with our group's unique needs and schedule!

I cannot say enough about my group's positive experience at Intrepids. From the food, to the service, to the location, to the accommodations... and then the proximity to wildlife all around you within minutes of their entry gate. Just the right amount of luxury coupled with a safari experience. We wanted for nothing during our stay because the staff made sure we had everything that we needed. We were there filming a documentary and spent 12 hours a day in the field. Returning to Intrepids at the end of our filming days was like returning to an oasis. Highly recommend.

Wow ,wow . wow this place blew me away the staff were amazing specially thanks to Stuart the waiter. And Hussain the security he was the best showing us the stars and taking time out of his night to star gaze with us . I can honestly say this was an incredible experience the food is Al a carte special thanks to the chef. if you get the chance please stay in this camp you won’t regret it the food is catered for everyone and the staff , accommodation is fantastic .

Quiet, attentive staff matched the austere, arid surroundings. Lodgings and amenities were glamp-safari level. Food was accessible and beyond the U.S. private retreat level. Meals were highly accessible, oscillating between a la carte and buffet. Even skipping the fruits, vegetables and anything potentially washed in local water, we were hardly foraging, and never felt even slightly underfed, or in need of any little extra when we returned to our tent. Outside the hotel’s main gates were tropical birds, abundant varieties of ungulates, pachyderms!, giraffes, baboons, wart hogs, Grevy’s zebras, the entire world of which a competent, informed, land rover-equipped guide can and will be delighted to showcase to guests. Inside there were a few mischievous vervet monkeys kept at bay by ever-active staffers and an on-site Samburu tribesman. Couples tents contained amazing wood floors throughout, two four-poster single berths at the frontside flanks, with mosquito netting; in the middle: dressing and storage space; at the rear: toilet and shower sandwiching a double-sink vanity. The tent is encased in durable fabric and insect proof netting, which one can roll-and-zip up or down, depending on one’s levels of preference in the air-circulation and insulation departments. The turn-down service was professional, yet cozy, exceeding the echelons of any concomittant regimen I have experienced.
