We absolutely loved our stay at the Trofana Royal - our favourite hotel in the Austrian Alps! The rooms, facilities and restaurant are all excellent - really hard to find any fault at all. The spa deserves a special mention and was a favourite with everyone - amazing to have such a large family spa was as well as the excellent adults only area. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and I can honestly say it gets better ever time. The food, the service , the quality of the rooms and spa is superb. Great location beside the main ski lift in the town. The management deserve top marks as the staff are so well trained.

Its a very nice hotel, so I will just point out aeas which are not 5 stars for sure: - water at dinner (half board) is 10 euros, or 5 for tap - its quite annoying - no water in rooms unless you order from room service for 15 euros - no heat adjustment in the rooms - salad bar and cheese selection pretty average - there is a normal a la carte menu for dinner, not just the daily selection, but unless you ask you are not told - no owners or manager to greet guests at dinner (which happens in pretty much all austrian hotels) Seems like the hotel needs some attention… these are all minor points but all together they just add up…

Really great, truly 5* hotel. Rooms spacious and modern with large bathrooms and lovely views from balcony. Breakfast and dinner very good. Minor niggle that the waiter was very pushy with very expensive wine which honestly got a little annoying. Pool very nice and hot tub great but got a little busy. NYE meal was very nice. Would recommend.

Just returning home from a family ski trip staying at this stunning hotel. My wife and I travel very frequently to some extremely good hotels and I have to say that the Trofana falls into that category. The hotel is truly 5*. The amenities are excellent - the spa is just a great place to be. The food is truly amazing and the staff just compliment the excellence of this hotel. Ok - I see that some people moan that they charge for water and drinks are a little pricey. All I would say is that if you want excellence then don’t moan if you have to pay a little more. Thank you to all of the staff who made our stay so wonderful. As for some practicalities, the location is in my opinion in the best part of the town and only a 2 minute walk from a gondola - even in ski boots. There are some great aprez bars close by. The ski room is spacious and it is possible to ski back within 5 metres of the ski room door. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

This hotel is quite simply outstanding. The food is delicious and so well presented. The staff are the best I have ever come across and we go to five star hotels 6 times a year. We asked to stay in the new area which was lovely and modern. The spa is brilliant with lots of areas to relax and loads of saunas etc. There is a large outdoor pool and large hot tub. Can't imagine going anywhere as good as this - well done to all at the Trofana we miss you already.
