Glenmoriston Arms Hotel

Ate dinner here this evening with my walking companion. Dining room very inviting and calm. Good choice of wine by the glass, Menu selection including daily specials was excellent and very fairly priced, food was excellent, staff were excellent. Book to avoid disappointment.

On arrival our room was changed to one with no steps. As a sufferer of Parkinson's this was very welcome. The hotel is spotless. The welcome is warm but not gushing. The food absolutely excellent. One of us is vegetarian, the other not. Venison was served with a plate of simply scrummy food. The chef here knows a thing or two. The service was executed with friendly precision.

We visited as a group of four walkers for 1 night only. We were made to feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing was a problem. Even the new seasonal staff who'd only been there a few days were really helpful. The evening meal in the restaurant was superb, as was breakfast in the morning. The hotel offers packed lunches with everything you'd want in it, including a choice of delicious sandwiches. Rooms were clean, comfortable & spacious. My only suggestions for improvement are to please offer some decent non-alcoholic beers in the bar, rather than the ubiquitous main stream brands and to check the TV instructions in the rooms as we couldn't get ours to work. My overall impression: this is a great place to stay

We were staying up the hill and decided to walk down to the pub section at the front of the hotel having phoned ahead confirming if they accept dogs which they did. It was a Friday night and empty which didn't surprise us as invermoriston is quite remote. The pub is very clean and well lit with not a huge range of beers on tap available but I managed 👌.. The staff were friendly and polite and offered a tab after I told them my family were joining me. Not the cheapest but if you want cheap drinks go to the coop or Aldi and sit in your living room 😂.. All in this was a nice little place to have a couple but I couldn't stay there for a session. Worth the visit if you're looking for a quick, pleasant little pint

Friends and I were staying in a local B&B for three nights and the hotel was the only place to have dinner. The food and service were very good. However, we were disappointed that “Today’s Menu” didn’t change at all over the 3 nights, even the items on the “Specials” board.

We popped in for our dinner on a whim. We had a bar meal and were served the best fish and chips I've had in a long time, huge portion, really well cooked and beautifully presented! Loved the atmosphere in the bar, the staff were friendly and we were served really quickly - great place!
