This 1,300 sf waterfront house is nestled into the hillside of the Muskegon River in Stanwood Michigan on a private road. The quiet country location is peaceful and beautiful yet only 10 minutes from downtown Big Rapids. This meticulously maintained home can be used as a summer getaway on the water or a winter retreat close to snowmobile trails. The main level entrance contains a family room with fantastic river views. There is also a full kitchen, dining area, utility room with washer/dryer, full bath and bedroom on this main level. Relax outside on the huge deck and feel like you are right over the river! Go upstairs for an additional bedroom, full bath and an a large 20x24 living area with scenic river views. Bring your fishing pole and cast a line! Feel free to bring your own boat and attach to the 30' seawall; this river opens up into a large all-sports lake right before Roger's Dam. This is a loft cabin that sleeps 6. 4 in the loft and 2 on the main floor. The property is amazing. It sits on the Muskegon River but you won’t have river views from the cabin, however, you can walk to it. You can also explore the paved Fred Meijer White Pine Trail that goes from Cadillac to Grand Rapids. It has a VHS player, smart tv, and WIFI. There is disc golf and woods to roam. This cabin does have a floor A/C unit. If you come with with your furry friend I just ask that they don't bark and you clean up after them. This is Gray's Riverside Camp with firewood that is close to your cabin. As for the cottage itself, it is fully furnished and includes three bedrooms, one full bathroom, and a half bath that doubles as a laundry room. You will have access to a stove, refrigerator, microwave, Wi-Fi internet, flat-screen television, board games, ladder toss, playing cards, coffee maker, toaster, dish soap, dish towels, cleaning supplies, a start-up supply of toilet paper and paper towels, furniture, pots, dishes, silverware, brooms, blankets, quilts, sheets, bath towels, bedspreads and pillows.
