Our log cabin is conveniently located just minutes from town, yet you feel like you are in the northwoods upon entering. We have a wood burning stove, log furniture within the two bedrooms, and a cute loft that has another full log bed. There is a full kitchen, 1 full bath (bring your own towels), TV with Sling TV (Blue & Orange Package), and wireless internet available. Relax next to a fire in the backyard (lawn chairs provided) in the summer months and enjoy viewing ducks and geese in the small environmental pond behind the cabin. If you wish to go out and about there are many great restaurants nearby, shopping in downtown Hayward, and skiing on the world famous American Birkebeiner Ski Trail. The Hatchery Creek Trailhead, which has lighted trails, is just 2 miles down highway 77 providing access to the Birkie Trail and CAMBA Mountain Biking Trails. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin's entrance, bike into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the perfect location!This is a cozy, perfect little cabin right in the heart of Hayward with easy access to everything you will want to do during your stay here! We take pride in doing our best to make your stay a wonderful experience whether you're planning to use the cabin as your base camp while you explore Hayward and the surrounding areas or decide to stay in, relax, and unwind. We are constantly making improvements and upgrades to make your stay that much more enjoyable.Easy access using a key code & key. We love & have lots of dogs and know how important it is to bring your pooch along on your adventure. We are pet-friendly but please let us know if you plan to bring yours, as we do charge a cleaning fee ($30 for the total stay). We recently upgraded to mini-split heater/AC units. The heating and cooling is simply remote controlled and responds much faster than our previous heating system.Q: Where's the flat sheet on the bed?A: Keeping with the European-style theme, the bed has a duvet. We change and clean ALL linens after every stay and take great pride in our cleanliness. We also have an extra blanket stored if you need it.Q: Is there enough room to park a boat/trailer?A: Yes! The parking area is large enough for several vehicles. If you have a trailer, you can back in park in three different areas.
