Hotel Golden Spirit

A very nice hotel almost on the river Cerna. Clean, quiet, cosy,with big enough rooms and quite a lot of furniture and a maevelous view to the mountains and river. The bed was perfect to sleep for mother and child. Towels, sheets and garbage replaced every day if desired. Comfort room. A perfect playground with quite everything for kids, beside the river. Big swings in the garden. Very good breakfast, carefully arranged with lots of details, fresh season fruit and sweets, some homemade salads, jams or cakes. Every day something new along with the basics. Big variety, anyway. The coffee instead very poor quality and the bar coffee machine not in use. Very good proximity to swimming pools and restaurants and local shops, markets,bus station, taxi. A perfect place for families. They also have small pools inside, with thermal water.

To start with, the hotel has several good points: central location, on the main street but still quiet. Large parking both in front and behind the building. Breakfast is buffet style with varied dishes, some of them quite unusual for a hotel (pistachio powder). However, the overall image is not totally satisfying. Towards the end, people coming late to breakfast didn't have much to choose from. At the end of Oct there was no heat given by the hotel but fortunately we had the AC in the room and we made our own heating system. No other facilities. Very soft mattress and pillows for me of course, others may find quite comfortable. Overall, I found the room too expensive for what it offered and for the area.
