판다누스 비치 리조트 & 스파

우리는 장마철에 왔습니다. 바다는 수영하기에는 너무 거칠다. 하지만, 극복할 수 있습니다! 밤새 비가 내렸고 15분 동안 두어 차례 비가 내렸습니다. 하지만 걱정할 만큼 덥습니다. 일부 아시아 관광 명소와는 달리 스리랑카는 깨끗하고 놀라울 정도로 아름답고 운전은 좌측통행입니다! 사람들은 환영하고 따뜻합니다. 우리는 머큐리와 함께 인도양 주변에서 가장 사랑스러운 부티크 호텔을 찾았다고 생각하면서 다시 머큐리와 함께 여행했습니다. 그래서 우리는 또 하나를 추가하고 있습니다......Pandanus 해변 리조트 및 스파. 나는 새우, 돼지고기, 바베큐 치킨, 샐러드로 구성된 점심을 먹으면서 이 글을 쓰고 있습니다. Isuru와 Deshan이 우리를 돌보고 있습니다. 작은 호텔답게 이맘때는 좀 더 조용하고, 낭비를 줄이기 위해 뷔페 규모도 작아서 보기 좋습니다. 요리사는 필요한 모든 것을 수용할 것이며 야채와 과일을 선택하는 것이 좋습니다. 참고로 와인은 추가이지만 맥주와 현지 증류주가 있으니 놓치지 마세요. (스리랑카에서는 일반적으로 와인이 조금 비쌉니다.) 위치는 말 그대로 해변에 있으며 부서지는 파도 소리가 끊임없이 배경을 이루고 있습니다. 우리 방은 충격적이며 태양으로 따뜻해지는 40m 수영장이 있습니다. 그러니 아시아라는 생각이 조금 두렵다면 먼저 여기로 오세요. 나는 이 아름다운 호텔에 대해 충분히 좋은 말을 할 수 없습니다. 사진을 확인해보세요. 나는 과장하지 않습니다! 해변에서 투어를 판매하는 사람들도 정중하고 문제가 되지 않습니다. 그들은 강요하지 않으며 probs는 좋은 가격을 가지고 있습니까?

The hotel was excellent. The food was of a high standard, with plenty of choice. All inclusive, suited us but it didn't stop us adventuring out and about. Our room was on the lower left, with the swimming pool right outside. The view of that and the sea was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and friendly, special mentions for Kalum, Deano, Kusin and Mahseen (not sure if spelled correctly) There was water volleyball daily, which we tried to play, it was fun. We would certainly return to this hotel.

I always write honest reviews and I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for a few things that really need addressing here.Let me start by saying that if you’re looking for a beach holiday (which luckily we weren’t)you’re going to be very disappointed as the beach is covered in unsightly sandbags due to the hotel coastline suffering severe coastal erosion.You are unable to walk along the beach and the seas are rough and after talking with a local it was confirmed that it is like this the majority of the time.The room we had was perfect and led straight out to the swimming pool as I had emailed the hotel beforehand and requested,which they kindly obliged.The food is the outstanding feature here with the Sri Lankan curries my favourite,everything was fresh and tasty with a great selection to cater for all.The day time activities were hit and miss and the lounge bar and billiard room were closed due to refurbishment but the Sky lounge was open.All staff were courteous and made you feel like a VIP but towards the end of the holiday I felt they were hanging around for tips which felt a touch uncomfortable as we do tip but you can’t do it for everyone.A few other things we noticed was that some of the sun loungers were broken and needed repair and a limited selection of drinks on the all inclusive list and no wine, but you could buy a bottle in the restaurant for £30 which is Dubai prices!.We didn’t bother buying any wine as the local Tuk-Tuk driver called ‘Sudath” who parks outside the hotel which we made friends with,took us to the local wine store amongst other places,Sudath also does realistically priced tours of the local area which were great fun and very authentic.All tours further afield I booked prior to leaving the UK with Bentota Travel Mart who were far cheaper than Mercury Holidays and due to having no beach the guys selling trips weren’t there,so it was a good decision in the end.We really enjoyed our 10 day stay here,we have found memories of the warm Sri Lankan hospitality and the beautiful country.I recommend staying here as a base as the hotel has 5* star dining and wonderful staff which outweighs the other niggles that I’m sure will be sorted.

Write this review from love…. Pandanus Beach Resort And Spa is my second home!!! I never forget the staff!!! Never forget the view of the room!!! Never forget the delicious of Sri Lankan food!!! I will be back for sure because of the friendly staff , specially chathu sara:)

Incredible staff with beautiful beach resort. Room with amazing view. In the evening you can see sunset in your own room. Food taste really delicious every day buffet with a lot of deserts, I would like to thanks sarah and chathu for their greatest hospitality. We are definitely coming come. Thanks for the great service 🤗

It is pleasant stay and very supportive people. If you wanna buy something , 10 min with tuk tuk for Alutgama city center. You can find a tuk tuk in front of the hotel. great hospitality from chathu sara from the front desk:) beautiful peoples ever 💘
