This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a hotel. I travel quite a bit for work and tend to be pretty laid back, especially when it comes to staying at a lower budget hotel. I was not expecting the Ritz, just a clean room, clean beds, working TV, air conditioning, and a shower. The first night my family and I checked in, we were greeted by a sign on the front desk stating that they were too busy to greet us for check in, but we could call the number on the sign. I guess smoking and goofing off with another person outside is more important than taking care of customers. I took my exhausted family upstairs to our room after driving 12 hours, and the TV didn't work. After trying to figure it out. I gave up. The next morning my husband realized everything was completely unplugged. The air in the room was so humid. we had to keep the air at 67 and the bedsheets still felt wet. There was hair in the bathroom when we checked in. One would think that there would be a quality check from someone before check in. When we went to take showers, I could not get the water to turn on. My husband finally got the water to come on, but there was no cold water. I cannot bathe my kids in burning hot water. When I went downstairs, I explained that we didn't have a shower that worked. we only had one more night to stay, and honestly I didn't want to pack everything back up and switch rooms at 10pm when my kids are half asleep. I did however pay to check into one room, with access to a shower, and felt that they could compensate me for having to use my sister's shower across the hall. I explained that my family and I had travelled 12 hours for a very short 3 night stay. We were exhausted, and packing back up, dragging the kids to a new room, and unpacking again, just wasn't an option. This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a hotel.
