도멘 뒤 리우 디외(Lieu Dieu, Domaine de Campagne)

Such an idyllic and beautiful place surrounded by stunning lakes and lush forests. It was truly a beautiful one night stay that I wish could’ve lasted longer. We will surely be back for a longer stay as there was so much that myself and my son (8) wanted to do like paddle boarding, pedal boats and horse riding too! My only negative was being surprised with a €300 deposit which was not mentioned on the website I booked through (**********). The pod which we stayed in required a bit of maintenance, for example there was a curtain that wouldn’t close because of a missing rope to hold it in place and also the ladder screws on one side were very loose and not too safe and it didn’t feel the cleanest as I did need to sweep the floor myself upon arrival. The last comment would be to offer a fan in the pod as in the hot weather it was quite uncomfortable and being above the river I didn’t want to have the window open all night due to mosquitoes. Despite this we will definitely be coming back to visit again one day and hopefully bringing more family as it’s such a great place, thank you!

This is a great and tranquil place. It's a Mecca if you'd like to learn, improve, practise or simply enjoy horse riding. It is also in close proximity to Eu and other places to enjoy. Do book horse riding activities ahead though, don't just turn up. Accommodation (we had cabin by/on the water) is good, clean and has all the necessary items. Breakfast (€10pp) is just baget and croissants, so perhaps could be a bit more. Overall we enjoyed our stay there, enjoying the nature and the lake. But unless going specifically for equestrian, will choose something different next time.

We booked this for my 2 year old daughter to have some experience with horses at the end of our holiday. We specifically booked this because it advised they are English speaking. The staff here while friendly do not speak English we had to use google translate on the computer in reception. We also had the lessons we booked for my daughter cancelled on 2 hours notice. At the stables we were told it was ‘too hot’ while we stood and watched several French groups head out on horses. We were later told it was due to all instructors being with other classes. We did requested something else to do with the daughter, even just rent a pedalo for the afternoon but was told no. The experience really put a downer on the end of our holiday and left a sour taste. It was hard to watch over 30 French children play with horses and us be told we can’t and not feel like this is because we are English. Upsides are the chalet we stayed in was nice and the location is beautiful.

Alarm beeping all night, passive aggressive elderly lady at the desk, two forks for three, I had to make the beds and was told that it was to save on the costs with the cleaners when wondered about it, teen caps yelling all evening a meter from our «  peaceful quiet lodging », the place has a potential but unfortunately the experience was ghastly. The only peaceful place could possibly be the floating house’s far from the riding spot. Very unpleasant experience.

Très très bien, je recommande pleinement, nous avons passé un super séjour, nos voisins étaient des habitués et très sympa. Notre petit garçon s'est bien amusé. Lieu très propre autant le logement que les espaces extérieurs. Les chevaux sont superbes, nous avons fait une promenade avec notre petit garçon, il était aux anges. Très bon accueil et de bons conseils par toutes les personnes présentes à l'accueil ! Quand on voit certains commentaires c'est vraiment abusé ! Si on ne veut pas de bruit, odeurs, d'araignées, il ne faut pas aller en séjour en centre équestre ou à la ferme !! En tout cas, nous prévoyons d'y retourner prochainement !

Le calme des lieux et les infrastructures invitent au repos. Parfait avec des enfants! Même si nous connaissions déjà la baie de Somme, nous avons été conquis par cet endroit entre terre et mer. Nous espérons rêvenir très bientôt au Lieu Dieu

Toujours un grand plaisir de venir dans cet endroit que j'ai découvert depuis peu. Rien de mieux pour se ressourcer que d'être dans la nature au calme et le silence. Faire de longues promenades, admirer les chevaux rien n'est plus dépaysant que çà

Une super découverte, un lieu d'exception, les amoureux de la nature, des animaux seront ravis de passer un séjour la bas !! Notre fille a pu profiter d'un court particulier d'équitation se fut un vrai plaisir pour elle ; une monitrice agréable qui aime son métier et qui sait transmettre ces compétences !! La seule chose qui pourrait être mis en place c'est un état des lieux a l'arrivée et au départ du logement qui soit dit en passant est génial ( séjour dans roulotte) . A REFAIRE TRES VITE !!!

Le site est superbe, nous avons pu vraiment déconnecter de notre quotidien, les logements sont très propres et très bien entretenus, les professionnels à l’écoute et très réactifs. Nous reviendrons pour un stage équestre et pour d autres week-ends sans aucun doute!
